Description
Cozy and warm tiny cabin in the garden of a beautiful historic home at Nesodden, less than one hour from Oslo. Easily accessible by public transport. Peaceful surroundings, 5 minutes walk to the fjord and the forest right outside the fence. Well insulated, warm even during the Norwegian white snowy winter. Wake up in the morning listening to the birds singing. Nice view, close to the beach. The peninsula offers a lot of art and cultural activities. Suitable for single travelers and couples. The space The cabin is tiny and simple but cozy and highly functional for one or two, as you have 24/7 access to the kitchen, toilet and shower in the main house (about 20-30 m from the cabin). The cabin is about 8 sqm, and contains a bed (120x195 cm) and a dining table with chairs. The cabin has good insulation and a heater available so you can adjust the heat to your preference. The cabin was built using mostly recycled materials. Nesodden is a peninsula in the inner Oslo fjord. The old historic house Villa Fredbo, (which means "peaceful living") is located at the west side with sun from morning to late evening. View to the fjord and pond in front of the house. Go for a walk in the forest behind the house, and enjoy a swim in the pond in the forest with so clean water. Relaxing, beautiful garden with room for private escapes. I also found a spot in the garden for the trampoline and a playground slide for the kids. Drøbak 16 km with car to Drøbak, a popular holiday destination with beaches and a charming city center. Small soccer field. Oslo 42 km and 50 min with car to the center of Oslo. Frequent bus and boat service to Oslo, and a few times a day to Drøbak. Guest access For more information about things to do, visit the websites of Visitoslo, Visitdrobak, Visitfollo, Tusenfryd (only in Norwegian) and the Oscarsborg Fortress! You can also visit the caves of Spro/Spro-gruvene just around the corner. I will recommend visiting Hellviktangen art café at Nesodden, with delicious organic food in beautiful relaxing environment. And maybe enjoy a swim by the sand beach if you like! Midsummer the water might reach 23 degrees celcius. You can reach all this by walking in the neighborhood , by bicycle or bus or/and boat.
