Beautiful scenery and cliff walks and just a short drive to a choice of beautiful beaches. Perfect for a peaceful escape or active adventures. An excellent base for exploring Kerry. Causeway village is a 4 minute drive where you will find a post office, shop, bakery, pubs, café, takeaway, playground and more — perfect for your everyday needs. For beach and golf lovers, Ballyheigue’s beautiful beach and golf course are just a 10 minute drive away. Ballybunion’s world-famous golf course and beach are only 15 minutes and offer seaweed baths, crazy golf, restaurants and bars. Banna Strand and its leisure centre is a 15-minute drive, while Fenit and the Tralee Golf Club at Barrow are just 20/25 minutes away. You’ll also be close to the towns of Listowel and Tralee (about 20/25 minute drive) with Killarney being just 45 minutes away and Dingle is reachable in around an hour. The Tarbert car ferry is approx. 30 minutes away, Kerry Airport is a 35-minute drive and Shannon Airport is about 90 minutes by car. A few helpful things to know: Ireland uses the same plugs as the UK — the three rectangular-pin type. The voltage is 230V/50Hz so if you're visiting from outside Ireland or the UK don’t forget to pack your travel adapters. Due to allergy concerns and personal preference we do not provide shampoo/conditioner/shower gel or laundry detergent so please feel free to bring your own favourite brands. We offer smart TV with cable and some satellite stations. We do not provide log ins for streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc., however guests are welcome to sign in using their own accounts to avail of these services.
