Nestled between the most popular viewpoints on the outer side of Senja, within walking distance of Skaland town center, you will find the yellow house up on the hill. With panoramic views of Bergsfjorden and excellent conditions for sunbathing and viewing the Northern Lights, this house is a superb destination for a vacation. The house has 3 bedrooms with 3 double beds and can accommodate up to 6 people. Kitchen with dishwasher and bathroom with washing machine. Balcony with access from the living room where you can sunbathe and enjoy the view. There are panel stoves in all rooms. The space The house was built in 1950 and has been refurbished over the last two years. The kitchen, bathroom, and windows have been renovated, but the traditional style has been retained. The house has 3 bedrooms with double beds, and the dining area and living room are designed for 6 people. Pets are welcome. The house faces south and has a balcony with an exit from the living room with good sun conditions, with sun from approx. 9 am to 7 pm in the summer. There is little light pollution in Bergsfjorden, so in the winter season the house is in a good location to see northern lights and stars when it is cloudless. You can clearly see the Northern Lights from the house. In the summer, it is recommended to take a drive through the tunnel to Steinfjorden at midnight to see the midnight sun shining next to Okshornan. There is a fire pit/fire pan in the garden in front of the house that can be used. Here you can also sit and watch the Northern Lights during the Northern Lights season. Guest access The main house with the first and the second floor is available for guests. Guests also have access to the entire outdoor area around the house. The basement and a storage room on the 1st floor, as well as stalls/stalls on the 2nd floor are kept private. Other things to note The driveway to the house is steep, but there are 2 level parking spaces at the bottom of the property by the mailbox down by the road. It is recommended to park there, particularly in the winter. The lower parking lot is roughly at the same level as the main road, and if you have a regular passenger car or a van, it is recommended that you park there. There's a 130-foot walk from there up to the house. There is also parking at the top of the hill next to the house if your car can handle the steep hill.
