Stay comfortable year-round with the Nest thermostat for personalized heating and central air. Rest assured, our air is filtered and automatically refreshed daily from 4 to 5 PM. While San Francisco typically doesn't require air conditioning, you'll enjoy a cozy and climate-controlled stay in this exceptional suite. Parking - We do not have a garage. Street parking is usually easy to find but does require a permit if parking more than two hours from 8am to 6pm Monday-Friday. If you need a daily parking pass, we have them available for $30/day, please let us know at time of booking if this will be needed. Also, if you park on a hill in SF, please curb your wheels or you may be ticketed. Guest access Enjoy complete and exclusive access to our in-law unit within our single-family home. Your privacy is paramount, and you won't have access to the backyard. Although there is a door in the room leading to the main home, rest assured it remains securely locked during your stay. We occasionally check our mail in the mudroom, which is located before the entrance to the suite, ensuring your uninterrupted privacy. Other things to note Please know that we reside upstairs with our two children (ages 6 and 9) and our friendly dog, Aspen. While they may occasionally engage in typical kid activities when not in school, we make every effort to keep noise to a minimum. For added convenience and privacy, we have electric automated blackout blinds for those times when you prefer a darker atmosphere, especially during the day. San Francisco's moderate climate means air conditioning is rarely necessary, but you're welcome to open the windows for ventilation. Just remember to close them before leaving. Our house's filtered air circulation system operates daily from 4 to 5 PM and we often turn it on during the day as well. The home is equipped with top-notch whole home filtration system for your comfort and safety. Within walking distance, you'll find Trader Joe's, Target, Walgreens, Calmart, and Best Buy. Additionally, the Lyon Street stairs and the entrance to the Presidio are a mere 5 blocks away.
