“Le Refuge du Milan”: the unique lodge A truly cozy nest facing the mountains for a relaxing and restful stay, in an extraordinary location: a former London bus converted into a home, with its own independent tiny house. The space “Le Refuge du Milan” is a group cottage and a unique place to stay. You will be staying in the unique cottage as described below: 🚌 The English bus: - Ground floor with a large kitchen, dining room, and bathroom with toilet and shower - 2nd floor with a master bedroom (double bed 140 x 190), a small bedroom (bed 90 x 190), a living room, and a work area 🏡The tiny house: one independent master bedroom (double bed 140 x 190 cm) 🌲A large terrace facing the mountains with a private 3-seater Jacuzzi and a covered outdoor seating area, plus a large garden. On site: cleaning products and a vacuum cleaner, dish towels, 1 roll of toilet paper. Breakfast: You have at your disposal an Italian coffee maker and a traditional drip coffee machine: ground coffee and everything you need to make tea or herbal tea. Beds made upon arrival, 1 towel/person included. The gîte must be cleaned before your departure. Guest access 🏡 In the village of Bertren You will be ideally located, with all the shops accessible by car or bike via the greenway: La Garonne is a 5-minute walk away 🍞 Bakery - Butcher - Smoking – 5 min drive 🛒Carrefour – 5 min drive Barbazan 🎰 Casino for Players - 5 min 🏡Basilica of Saint Bertrand de Comminges - 10 minutes by bike "Pyrenees Ho" adventure 🧗 park — 10 min drive and Salechan Nature & Fauna Park 5 min drive. 🏖️ Swimming nearby ( 10 minutes: Lacs de Saint Pé d 'Ardet , Montréjeau ) 🫧Baths of Luchon — 25 min drive 🏔️ Great location for ski and nature lovers! 🎿 25 min from Luchon (ski lift departure point) 🎿 25 minutes to Le Mourtis ski resort 🎿 50 min from Peyragudes resort 🌿 Plenty of hikes and outdoor activities 🌍 Only 25 min to the Spanish border! Other things to note No Wi-Fi – TV. In the event of very hot weather, there are of course fans available; the nights are always cool on the mountain. The ceiling height on the bus is 180 cm (5' 11") upstairs; I'm letting tall people know! If you love paragliding, climbing, cycling, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, or kayaking (yes, the Garonne is right nearby, tried and tested!), you'll be in exactly the right place!
