“Le Refuge du Milan”: the unique lodge A truly cozy nest facing the mountains for a relaxing and restful stay, in an extraordinary location: a former London bus converted into a home, with its own independent tiny house. The space "Le Refuge du Milan": The unusual lodge. You will be accommodated as described below: 🚌 The English bus: - Ground floor with a large kitchen, dining room, bathroom with toilet and shower - 1st floor with a master bedroom (double bed 140x190), a small bedroom (bed 90x190), a living room and a desk area 🏡 The tiny house: a separate master bedroom (double bed 140x190) 🌲A large terrace facing the mountain with a private 3-seater hot tub and a covered outdoor lounge area, and a large garden. Heating: radiator in the tiny house, pellet stove 🔥 in the bus Please note: In winter, it can be cold in the bus despite the stove. Please take this into account. On-site: cleaning products and vacuum cleaner, dish towels, 1 roll of toilet paper. Breakfast: You have an Italian-style coffee maker and a traditional filter coffee maker at your disposal. Beds made upon arrival, 1 towel/person included. The cottage must be cleaned before your departure. Guest access 🏡 In the village of Bertren You will be ideally located, with all the shops accessible by car or bike via the greenway: La Garonne is a 5-minute walk away 🍞 Bakery - Butcher - Smoking – 5 min drive 🛒Carrefour – 5 min drive Barbazan 🎰 Casino for Players - 5 min 🏡Basilica of Saint Bertrand de Comminges - 10 minutes by bike "Pyrenees Ho" adventure 🧗 park — 10 min drive and Salechan Nature & Fauna Park 5 min drive. 🏖️ Swimming nearby ( 10 minutes: Lacs de Saint Pé d 'Ardet , Montréjeau ) 🫧Baths of Luchon — 25 min drive 🏔️ Great location for ski and nature lovers! 🎿 25 min from Luchon (ski lift departure point) 🎿 25 minutes to Le Mourtis ski resort 🎿 50 min from Peyragudes resort 🌿 Plenty of hikes and outdoor activities 🌍 Only 25 min to the Spanish border! Other things to note Wi-Fi on site, no TV. In summer: Fans are available. Nights are always cool in the mountains. The headroom in the bus is 180 cm upstairs. I'm letting tall people know! If you're into paragliding, climbing, cycling, hiking, mountain biking, skiing or kayaking (and yes, the Garonne River is right next door – tested and approved), you'll be exactly where you need to be!
