House in the Forest
House in the Forest
Description
Very spacious earthen house (Superadobe) located in a beautiful forest of ocote and oak trees. Absolute tranquility and 100% safe. The property has a greenhouse, a chicken coop, and 4,000 m² of space to enjoy camping, campfires, and outdoor meals. Very close to the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary, excellent coffee plantations, and Magical Towns, and an hour from Valle de Bravo and Avándaro. It is located 1 hour south of Toluca. The space It is an earthen house, built four years ago using bags filled with rammed earth and, what's more, it is earthquake-resistant – the only bricks are those in the fireplace. By its very nature, it is a living house; there are cracks in the walls, and it maintains a stable temperature in both winter and summer. The property is a 4,000-meter (1.25-mile) crescent-shaped lot with a greenhouse, a chicken coop, a small cornfield, a kitchen herb garden, and a small bahareque (wood and clay) cabin where I live.
