A lake house entirely in nature

Welcome to our rustic country getaway! If you’re looking for a place of absolute quietude and immersion in nature, you have found it. It’s an old sheep farm, which we carefully renovated into our own Astrid Lindgren farm. We’re off the grid (though with electricity and internet :)). Enjoy unlimited space and nature walks, no fences, your own lake to swim in, and many birds to watch. The space The house is roughly 220 m² in size. There’s a large first floor with two king-size beds, a small bed and a grand piano (it’s one big room without separators which makes it very spacious). Downstairs, you find the kitchen / dining area, another sleeping room, a fully equipped bathroom and a living room. My personal highlight is the large patio where we usually eat and enjoy nature. A BBQ is outside. We also have lots of games to play, like badminton. Another highlight is the lake. You have your own lake access (400m from the house), where you can swim or take our own paddle boat. Another small lake is 150m away. The property is huge (10 hectares) and in the middle of nature. There is one neighbor nearby, but the next village is roughly 3 km. The house is reachable via a gravel road. The building is an old house, which we carefully renovated. We have done our best to keep the old character, walls and ovens— cracks and patina included. We do have Internet and electricity, but water comes from a well, so please conserve it. Also, since the house is in the middle of nature, do expect animals – most are very harmless, but there will be the inevitable fly in the kitchen at some point. If you want nature, quietude and peace, this is your place! (If you want a city condo with neighbors and bars, this will not be for you :) Guest access You can use the entire property.
