Town Centre cosy Double (private bathroom)

Cosy Attic Double Bedroom in beautiful town centre, pure cotton bedding, with private bathroom (roll top bath & power shower). The room is well insulated, there are 2 windows so in the summer there can be a flow of air and a fan is available also. Great transport links to Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick University, Birmingham & many other places - by bus/train. The space The house has been recently renovated and decorated though out. The bedroom is on the second floor in the eves, so it has lots of character and is very light and bright. The room is well insulated, so cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter than you might anticipate, there are two windows so in the summer there can be a flow of air and there is a fan that is both quiet and oscilates. It has a dormer window, with a roof scape view, as well as a velux window. Both have blackout blinds though so you won’t be disturbed by the light in the morning if you don't wish it. It has a new bed and new good quality mattress. The door can be locked if you wish. The stairs to this room are narrow. The stairs to the 1st floor are somewhat steep, please be aware of this. You will have the use of the main bathroom to yourself/selves, (though the laundry facilities are housed in cupboards in this room so other users of the house might access these). The bathroom has a double ended roll top bath (quite a step into it and similarly out, so please be mindful if you have trouble with your knees) and a power shower over. There is a step just inside the door. Guest access Unfortunately at this time I am afraid I cannot offer use of the kitchen and living room at this time however you are welcome to use the patio garden with swing seat and dining area. We don’t provide breakfast or beverage facilities in the room and guests are politely asked not to eat in their rooms, there are many eateries in a short walking distance to suit all budgets and tastes. During your stay I am happy to socialise and give whatever tips you might need for the local and surrounding areas - I am equally happy to leave you alone if you'd rather do your own thing! Other things to note I aim to be as accommodating to guests as possible, providing check in and out, as far as possible to suit guests. I am a psychotherapist working from home however so if I am going to be in session (only week days) when you want to arrive or depart then you will either need to do so via the alley and back door or wait until I have finished for the day, which may be as late as 8.00 p.m. Please check before booking if this is likely to be an issue. My rate is highly competitive and reflects this potential minor inconvenience. No smokers accepted. You'll get your own set of keys to come and go as you wish given the proviso above. Please take care of them as the keys are registered and if you lose them I will have to charge you to replace both the keys and the locks. If you would like to invite others who you have not booked for to share the space please check with us first. Similarly if you are planning to 'work from home' here, please check with us in advance. If you are heavily pregnant, or for other reasons might be challenged by the stairs to this room, especially if you are travelling with a companion and/or for more than one night please let me know before booking and if I am able to offer you another room with either an ensuite or a shower room on the same floor for the same price I will be happy to do so.
