Lovely private cabin in large garden, with parking
Description
Sunset Cabin is an ideal base for visiting the world-famous EDEN PROJECT and surrounding area. Nearby you have beautiful walks in Luxulyan Valley, World Heritage Site. The village pub serves great food within walking distance, and the village shop is open daily. It's a short drive to the A30, so you're well positioned to further explore stunning Cornwall. You’ll love the balance between country escape and proximity to amenities. The cabin suits couples, solo adventurers and families with kids. The space Rustic appeal may be exactly what you're after, but even if it isn't, don't be put off by the wooden construction and garden location; the cabin is a cosy and welcoming space. It's well-insulated and double-glazed, and we've deliberately added a few extra touches to make your stay... well, the kind of stay that we ourselves would like to have. Located in our large (half an acre) garden, the cabin is beyond the house and its entrance is private and secluded. Guest access Sunset Cabin is completely self-contained, and exclusively yours during your stay, so feel free to come and go as you please. You are welcome to take a wander in the garden, sit under a tree, sniff at the plants or enjoy the birds. Other things to note Some important points - please read. Sleeping arrangements: We want the space to be as flexible as you need - whether you're a couple, a family with children, or a small group of friends. So, although there are just two single beds, we are happy to accommodate up to four altogether, with two being on a more makeshift basis (the chaise end of the sofa, and a small fold-out foam chair-bed). It's ok with us if it's ok with you - and it's just a small charge, applied when booking. We've made checkout nice and late (12 o’clock) just in case you fancy a lie-in. Cooking and eating: We provide a kettle and mini-fridge, as well as a light breakfast of cereals, tea and coffee. The cabin has no cooking facilities - but our friendly village pub is a few minutes' walk away and serves great food. There's also a fab village takeaway that usually opens Thursday to Saturday evenings (we can provide details). The sink in the kitchenette area is cold tap only. The good news is this means you don't need to wash up if you don't feel like it - we'll happily take care of that. Limited connectivity: The cabin has no wifi. And though country living is a wonderful thing, the trade-off is our mobile signal (depending on which network). We find the best areas to be the far end of the garden or the parking area out front, but it's not always reliable. If you're desperate to message someone we'll do our best to help you be in touch. Guests tell us they have appreciated the opportunity to switch off, so it's best to view this as part of the experience of 'getting away' - in no time at all you'll be back in full civilisation! (Oh, and those sunsets... the weather is a tad beyond our control, so they must be considered a blessing rather than a guarantee.)
