The space The Red Cliff House @ Erawan is a peaceful private riverside retreat surrounded by nature, perfect for families, couples, and travelers looking to slow down and enjoy the quiet beauty of Kanchanaburi. The house sits beside the River Kwai with open mountain and riverside views, surrounded by gardens, a spacious lawn, and many large mature trees that have naturally grown on the property for more than 40 years. The outdoor spaces have been carefully designed to create a relaxing atmosphere where guests can truly unwind and connect with nature. A wooden riverside walkway runs along the front of the property, providing easy access to the river for kayaking, relaxing by the water, or simply enjoying the peaceful scenery throughout the day. The private swimming pool is located directly in front of the house and can be enjoyed anytime during your stay. For guests who enjoy nature and adventure, there is also a rope swing into the river for extra fun. We provide 5 complimentary kayaks, allowing guests to paddle along the scenic River Kwai toward the Erawan Waterfall area — approximately 2 km away by water. If you prefer driving, the waterfall is only around 7 km from the house. Guests are welcome to use all basic kitchen equipment during their stay, including cookware, dishes, utensils, and a rice cooker. There is also a BBQ grill for relaxing outdoor meals by the river, especially during sunset and cooler evenings. The area around the house is very quiet and peaceful, away from busy tourist zones and surrounded by mountains, forest, and nature. Rare hornbills are often seen flying around the property and feeding on nearby fruit trees, especially during the quieter hours of the day. Local restaurants and convenience stores are located within approximately 2 km of the house, making it easy to find food and essentials while still enjoying the privacy and peaceful atmosphere of the area. As public transportation around the Erawan National Park area is quite limited, we highly recommend traveling by private car for a more comfortable and flexible trip while exploring nearby waterfalls, caves, viewpoints, and other nature attractions nearby.
