Country House

Relax in this quiet and stylish space. The decor speaks for itself... The garden, which has been scorched these days, comes back to life around 8 PM... It also tells a lot of stories... Come to unwind, to relax... You are welcome! Yes... You will feel right at home here for a week or for a day or two... Take a bite of a pear and let your inner smile rise... Improvements are being made to the garden... There are board games and a CD/video player. The space charming house built in 1840. Living room and bedroom with a view of a large garden with a Provençal character, with a cozy and comfortable 140x190 bed. Relaxation area with a bar for your aperitifs. Sofa & cushions for your TV programs. Dressing room for your belongings just before the bathrooms with reading material, here or in the garden, as you like😊. A fairly spacious kitchen with a large table for eating, cooking... preparing good dishes, with essential and varied utensils... a smoothie maker, a chopper, a kettle, and so on. If anything else is missing... it will be quickly added. Oven and microwave oven, toaster, machine for your espressos or your breakfast coffees, teas and infusions. Oil, vinegar, spices. a bathroom with a washing machine - a clothesline behind the barn - and storage units plus a shelf. Bath and shower towels. Hand and body soap, shampoo. Hair dryer. I am also a traveler and I value being well received at all times 🙂‍↕️. My last great memory is a superb house run by a couple of writers in Brussels! If I can make your experience a success here... I would be happy 🙂 - this text is being improved - like those things you will need to make yourself at home 🙂‍↕️ Everyone is welcome, without exception 😉🙂‍↕️ P.S. I am available and would be happy to discuss things to do in the nearby area – which are wonderful and plentiful – and to share other information. We will have enough time to discuss other information and advice verbally, as space is a bit limited here. I would do my best to be discreet, of course, if I perceive the need. This is a completely new experience for me. A few rare films and some classics are available on site, as well as various CDs. Bring your own! Once again, you are welcome here 🙏🤝🙂‍↕️ Guest access The house with a working stove for the warmer months, if you are there in November or even October (second building), is all yours. Today, a screen with plants and an umbrella was installed for your privacy on the side of the dining table in the garden, which has an elegant and bucolic feel and is located in front of your kitchen. You will therefore have access to the garden and part of the orchard... pears, plums, apples... figs in September/October. The heat wave is depriving us of other fruits for 2026, and this is happening early. Mint, thyme, and chives have survived thanks to frequent watering. 👌 Adjoining a second building which, in the very near future, will offer the possibility of a second bedroom. A child's bed is provided! There is a shaded area in the garden for your naps. Improvements are underway (a gate is planned before the end of the year or for next season), but the calm is omnipresent, and we have friendly neighbors. You will find that you are safe here. Your car will have a place in the barn, but only next season. The courtyard is planned so that you can park. I'm looking forward to refurbishing the pétanque area for everyone's enjoyment. You can already throw your balls and your jack there, but it will be great in 2027! 🙂 Access will be provided in the first office room of the second building (as soon as the storage is completed) if necessary for your optimal Wi-Fi connection. Visiting friends can always connect where you are staying🙂‍↕️, but you never know. If necessary or if there is a need, we can arrange for easier access🙂‍↕️.
