It also hosts exclusive evening Victorian theatre productions on select autumn and winter nights. Biddulph Grange Country Park (3-minute walk): Perfect for crisp morning strolls, featuring 78 acres of woodland paths, open meadows, and a hidden lake. Eat-in Kitchen: Fully equipped with everything you need to prepare hearty autumnal feasts, including complimentary tea and coffee. The Outdoors: Relax with a morning coffee in the expansive wrap-around gardens, complete with outdoor decking, a sunny patio, a summerhouse, and a sit-in greenhouse. 🐾 Paws & Boots Welcome (Pet Policy) I welcome well-behaved dogs (maximum of 1 medium/large dog or 2 small dogs) to enjoy the house with you! To protect the recent renovations and maintain a quiet relationship with the neighbours, I have a few firm but fair house rules: Garden Safety: The expansive wrap-around garden is a beautiful space to relax, but please note my driveway is open to the road with no front gate. For your dog's complete safety, dogs must be kept on a lead in the garden. Indoor Boundaries: Dogs are warmly welcome downstairs on the oak floors 🔗. I kindly ask that they stay off the furniture (unless using the protective, washable throws provided in the lounge utility basket) and that the upstairs bedrooms remain a strictly pet-free zone Neighbourhood Peace: To prevent distress barking, dogs must never be left completely unattended in the property at any time. Clean Reassurance: For non-pet guests, we use professional enzyme-based cleaners after every checkout, ensuring the property remains fresh, scent-free, and pristine for everyone. 🛏️ Bedrooms & Luxury Bathrooms Designed with calm, warmth, and timelessness in mind. Ascending the stairs, the airy galleried landing connects the sleeping quarters: Bedroom 1 (The Primary Suite): An exceptionally spacious, tranquil space featuring a luxurious King-size bed and a private, high-end ensuite bathroom. Bathroom 1 (The Ensuite): A beautifully styled, luxury bathroom serving Bedroom 1, complete with freestanding bath, walk-in rain shower and marble basin cabinet. Bedroom 2 (Double Room): A comfortable, warm room featuring a premium King-size bed, located directly across the landing from the family bathroom. Bedroom 3 (The Twin Room): A bright, well-proportion space featuring two Single beds—ideal for children, friends, or walking companions. Family Bathroom: A beautifully styled, luxury bathroom serving the upstairs bedrooms, complete with clawfoot bath, rain shower and marble basin cabinet. 🛡️ Child Safety. Travel cot and a secure safety stair gate (top of stairs) are available to keep little ones safe. 🚗 Comforts, Utility & Logistics Boot Room & Laundry: A dedicated utility room with a washing machine and dryer, offering ample space to dry gear, store muddy hiking boots, and wipe down wet paws with the provided dog towels. Downstairs WC / Cloakroom for convenience. Private Parking: A large private driveway with secure off-street parking for a maximum of 3 vehicles 💻 Remote Work & Wi-Fi: Fully equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi throughout. While there isn't a dedicated office room, the house offers excellent spaces to catch up on work—from the expansive dining table (which makes a fantastic, huge desk space) and the casual kitchen table, to the smaller dressing tables in the bedrooms for quiet tasks. Check-In: Seamless, contact-free self-check-in via key safe Pub Walks & Local Dining: Don't feel like cooking after a busy day? Pop on your coat for a 5-minute stroll up the road to "The Talbot" pub for a fantastic warming meal beside their crackling log fires. Guest access You'll have exclusive, private access to the entire 3-bedroom house and its expansive grounds during your stay. No spaces are shared with other guests or the host. Arrival & Entry Self Check-In: Enjoy the flexibility of self check-in via a secure key safe. Complete check-in instructions and the access code will be sent to you 3 days before arrival. Private Driveway: Secure parking is available on-site for up to 3 cars. All guest vehicles must park on the driveway to keep the road clear. The Grounds The Entire Plot: Guests are welcome to enjoy the full private garden, including the decking, patio, summerhouse, and greenhouse. Strict Property Rules (Please Read Before Booking) Registered Guests Only: Only the guests named on the booking reservation are permitted on the property at any time. No external visitors, daytime guests, or extra overnight visitors are allowed without my prior written consent. Neighbourhood Peace: This is a peaceful, quiet residential neighbourhood. I highly value my neighbours and maintain a strict policy against parties, loud music, or outdoor noise after 10:00 PM. Other things to note To ensure your stay is as comfortable and seamless as possible, please take a moment to review these final notes before booking: Residential Setting: The house is located in a quiet, established residential neighbourhood. It is a peaceful sanctuary, and I kindly ask all guests to respect the local community by keeping outdoor noise to a minimum, particularly in the evenings. Footwear Policy: To keep the high-quality carpets clean and pristine for every guest, this is a strict no-shoes household upstairs. Please bring your favourite indoor slippers to wear on the first floor. Check-In & Communication: This is a fully self-managed, independent rental. All communication takes place directly through the Airbnb app to ensure a fast, documented response to any questions you may have. Wood-Burning Stove & Fire Pit: Your stay includes one complimentary bag of logs, kindling, and firelighters. The log wall under the benches is a permanent decorative feature. If you require extra wood beyond the complimentary bag, logs can be purchased locally at the Esso garage just a few minutes drive away.
