Charming rural cottage near Forfar, Angus

Pitreuchie Cottage is a spacious traditional cottage in a peaceful rural location. Surrounded by farmland yet with the pretty town of Forfar and all its amenities close at hand, it is the perfect base from which to explore the stunning Angus countryside. Lochs and glens, hills and waterfalls, fabulous beaches, world-renowned links golf courses and castles are all within easy reach as are the Cairngorms or locations such as St Andrews (30 minutes) and Edinburgh (1.5 hours). The space Pitreuchie Cottage is single storey with all rooms accessed from a central hallway. Accommodation comprises a cosy sitting room with sofa and two armchairs and a dining table with four chairs. There is a smart tv with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Iplayer installed (for use with your own accounts) and a dvd player with some movies provided. A well-equipped galley kitchen includes oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. We will leave a welcome hamper for you to enjoy. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and en-suite shower room. Bedroom two has a double bed and is across the hall from the family bathroom with both bath and separate shower cubicle. Bedroom 3 has a single bed, garden view and en-suite shower room. You are welcome to spend time in our garden which can be accessed by the gate to the right side of the cottage. Guest access The yard at the side of the property is for your parking. Please keep the road clear at all times. You are welcome to spend time in our garden which can be accessed from the gate to the right of the cottage. The cottage is surrounded by fields of livestock and horses. Please do not be tempted to feed them! Other things to note Pitreuchie Cottage is unsuitable for toddlers and small children. Please note that although the cottage sleeps 5 people in 3 bedrooms, we cannot accept bookings for more than 4 people due to the space in the rest of the property. Please let me know if you require the single bed in the third bedroom to be made up, otherwise guests will be allocated the two double bedrooms. Angus Council letting license number: AN-01855-F
