The cabin has a large terrace facing southwest that provides optimal sun conditions all year round. Here it is good to relax around the fire pit and tell about the day's experiences. Nesfjellet is a complete, year-round cabin destination with a unique selection of activities for the whole family. If you dream of long walks in forests and fields, speed and fun in the alpine slope and socializing in the sun with family and friends, this is the place for you. The Alpine Centre can tempt with 6 lifts, 15 slopes, terrain park and its own sheltered children's area. The plant is still under development and new tracks are being planned. Ski rental is also offered at Skistua. Here there is a sports shop and cafeteria, where you can enjoy the view of the ski slopes from the outdoor terrace. Nesfjellet Alpin's last addition was an 8 seat chair lift from Leitner, with heating in the seat and windshielding. The cross-country trails are known to be one of Norway's best trails. The trails you can choose are varied, with different lengths and difficulty levels. For short trips, you can choose the well-maintained trails by the golf course or you can follow them up towards Nystølkroken, Åkrefjell and Trommenatten, Hallingnatten and Langedrag for longer trips. Nystølkroken cafè has a pleasant atmosphere, serving good food and drink, grocery outlets, take away, rental of all ski equipment, kick, sledges in addition to the sale of new ski equipment and small things. In the summer, the area offers beautiful mountain terrain with marked hiking trails, fishing in several trout lakes and good cycling opportunities. You can buy a fishing license for good fishing lakes. Bicycle tours such as Nesfjellet Rundt take place on bicycle-gravel roads and trails. The tour is family friendly so take your time and enjoy the surroundings. "Norway's finest cycling experience" goes from the top of Syningfjell (1100 m) and is a great bike/hiking route that ends in Nesbyen (about 15 km). Another great trip is inland to Trommenatten where you ride in a beautiful high mountain terrain. New trails are constantly being planned and Nesbyen has great ambitions as a mountain bike destination. Nesfjellet has a nine-hole golf course with a high standard and a nice golf cafe. There are a lot of activities and events throughout the year at the alpine and golf resort (technique courses, dog sledding, canoe rental, rebus, holiday activities (Christmas, winter holidays, Easter), gourmet dinners with seasonal produce. Hallingnatten is a popular summit tour, and with its highest point of about 1314 meters above sea level, you get 360 degree panoramic views of large parts of Southeast Norway, from Jotunheimen in the north to Gaustatoppen in the southwest. If you want to experience Norwegian wildlife up close, or if you are looking for excitement in nature experiences, this is something that Langedrag Naturpark and Vassfaret Bjørnepark can offer within about a 30-45 minute drive. Nesbyen center is only a 20 minute drive away and has everything you would need like grocery stores, shopping mall, bakery outlet/restaurant, wine monopoly, interior and furniture stores.
