Outdoor Retreat in a Barrel Bed with a Panoramic Sunset View

"We d Sunne hingerem Jura ungergeit" Experience tranquility, nature and real country life in the Emmental in our cozy wooden barrel right by the farm. Under the large maple tree with a wide view over the hills, you will find a place to unwind – especially beautiful at sunset. A lovingly furnished barrel, your own outdoor area with table, deck chairs and barbecue, and lighting await you. The toilet and shower are conveniently located in the stable building; clean and in keeping with the authentic farm experience. The space You'll be staying in a cozy wooden barrel in an idyllic location in the Emmental, right next to our farm. The barrel offers a cozy atmosphere with panoramic windows, power, light and heating. In front of the barrel, you will find your own outdoor area with a table, seating and a barbecue under the large maple tree with beautiful views over the hills. The barrel has a queen-size bed with a panoramic window without curtains (but darkened from the outside). In the entrance area, there is a pull-out table. If necessary, the benches can be used as a simple children's lounger (up to 12 years old), or alternatively, a small tent can be set up. Bed linen and terry cloths for 2 people are included. For simple meals, there is a small cooking area with a fridge, microwave, portable induction plate, kettle, 2-person raclette set, and a Nespresso coffee machine with 6 capsules. Drinking water and tea are provided free of charge. The lounge is simple and rustic, can be used in rainy weather and heated if necessary. You can also barbecue and cook outside on the fire pit. The surroundings are ideal for walks, hikes and for relaxing in nature. The "Herzroute" bike route leads directly past us. In winter, there is also a cross-country skiing trail in the village. On request (order one day in advance), a breakfast basket as shown in the photo can also be booked for CHF 25.00 (cash payment or twint) for a cozy start to the day. The toilet and the shower with a Travel hair dryers are located in the nearby stable building and are simple, clean and easily accessible (about 100 m). You can also walk through the stable for that. However, in the interest of safety, we ask that you do not touch or feed our suckler cows. Guest access The wooden barrel with its own outdoor area is available to the guests. There is a key box so you can check in independently. Parking is available right on the property, and electricity for e-bikes may be used. Other things to note Since the wooden barrel is located on a living farm, natural sounds and agricultural activities are part of the authentic experience. The sunset over the Emmental hills creates a unique atmosphere, especially in the evening. Important rules: - No smoking inside. - Pets are not allowed in the barrel. - Please do not feed or touch our animals - The fences are often electrified – please do not touch them - Please throw garbage in the designated bin (in the barn, in the toilet area or by the cooking area)
