Charming home from 1879, centrally located and by the fjord

Gata 26 warmly welcomes you! Charming and distinctive log house from 1879 with a new bathroom and a lot of soul - here you will love just being! On the main street in the beach town of Sand. Shops, cafes, sandy beach, cultural activities, Suldal Bad, everything in walking distance. The house is located right next to the express boat to Stavanger, and is easily accessible even without a car. Perfect starting point for first-class salmon fishing and majestic mountain hikes! The space Older standard and historic decor - this is a protected house with a lot of charm and soul! The house has 5 bedrooms (3 large with double beds and 2 lofts). Two living rooms (fireplace lounge and dining room), as well as a dining table in the kitchen and in the backyard. On days with good weather, it's also nice to bring your dinner or coffee cup down to the common table by the marina (1 minute walk). The stairs up are somewhat steep, but both the bathroom and the double bedroom are on the 1st floor. There is also a utility room with a sink on the 2nd floor, where the rest of the bedrooms are. The kitchen is of an older standard but fully equipped, and invites you to a Foodie stay: There is an espresso machine and a large assortment of coffee equipment available, as well as an ice cream maker and a pasta maker. You are free to use all the spices and basic groceries you need, and if you are missing something, the grocery store is 100 meters down the street. Fridays are market days in Torjå nearby, where you can buy a lot of good locally produced goods. Pricing assumes that guests bring their own bed linens and are responsible for washing them themselves. If you wish to rent bed linens and order laundry, this must be arranged upon booking for an additional fee. Guest access The whole house is basically at your disposal. Exceptions are the basement, the attic, and the closet on the 2nd floor, where I store personal belongings. Other things to note This is a protected house from 1879, where many original features have been preserved. It's very good energy in the walls that can be taken and felt. I hope they will have a new stay here! This is also my home - please take good care of it and let me know if anything unfortunate happens. - There is no cleaning fee because guests are expected to clean up after themselves. Vacuum cleaner and cleaning equipment are available. Please be especially careful with the bathroom and kitchen so that it is just as pleasant for the next guest. - If you would like a linen package with fresh bed linen and towels, it is possible to book this. There is a surcharge of 200 NOK per package per person, which is paid separately.
