Hiker Hostel - Twin bed#1 (shared room & bath)

This is a shared bedroom with a twin bed. You will have access to a shared full bathroom and the rest of the downstairs. One other person may be sleeping in the same room on the other bed. I live onsite and will interract with you and others during your stay. I am commonly asked by guests to socialize with them indoors and outside. So, if you are a private person who doesn't like interacting with other people, hostelling may not be your thing. If that is the case, let me know right away. The space Formerly a general store, train station, apartment, and even a salon, the Hiker Hostel is the only hostel in Michigan's Upper Peninsula! Six Bedrooms, common spaces, dorm-style sleeping, and private and shared bathrooms. We are conveniently located in the central part of the eastern Upper Peninsula. We are about half an hour from either end of Pictured Rocks, and 90 minutes or less from Sault Ste. Marie. Marie, St. Ignace, Marquette, and Escanaba. Guest access You have shared bedroom & bathroom. You have access to the kitchen, dining, living room, outdoor fire ring, and river access. The owner is the author of 50 Hikes in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, 50 Hikes on the North Country Trail, and is a retired career biologist. He is well-versed in the trails in the area and the wildlife, and is happy to share what he knows
