The yellow wooden house in Sieseby
The yellow wooden house in Sieseby
Description
Hygge and tranquility on the Schlei: Our lovingly furnished wooden house is located in the picturesque Sieseby, only a few minutes away from the water. Enjoy sunny terraces, the beautifully landscaped, ingrown garden, views of the Schlei and cozy evenings by the fireplace. Many windows, warm wooden tones and Scandinavian style create a special atmosphere in every season - perfect for couples, families, cyclists and anyone who loves peace, nature and Scandinavian coziness at the Schlei. The space Our light-flooded wooden house combines special architecture with Nordic coziness. High ceilings, warm wooden tones and many windows create an open and at the same time very cozy atmosphere. The house is situated in a quiet cottage area near the historic center of Alt-Sieseby - not directly in the thatched roof area, but only a few minutes away from it and from the Schlei. The completely enclosed property is almost unseen in the summer due to the ingrown garden. The terraces invite you to sunbathe, read or spend long evenings outdoors. From the small attic chambers upstairs, there is Schiblick. On the ground floor there is a cozy alcove with 180x200 cm bed (access only from one side), a bathroom with shower as well as the open living and kitchen area with fireplace. Upstairs there is an additional toilet and two small, very cozy bedrooms: – a chamber with 140x200 cm bed (also only accessible on one side) – a chamber with 80x200 cm bed plus pull-out armchair (approx. 70x190 cm) All sleeping areas have USB and USB-C outlets. The kitchen is well equipped with Bosch appliances and everything you need for good cooking – we love to cook ourselves. There is also a Krampouz plancha grill and a Weber charcoal grill available on the terrace. The dining area is rather compact with three chairs and a bench. An IKEA-INGOLF high chair is available (no secured high chair, more suitable for children from about 3 years). We recommend the house especially for 2–4 people, 5 possibly also 6 people are possible. Guest access Guests have use of the entire house including garden, terraces, carport and barbecue area. The property is completely enclosed. Check-in is currently in person by us. We will be happy to show you the house and answer any open questions. In perspective, access will be possible via a digital door lock. In the house is a ring alarm system that can be activated or deactivated via a control element in the house. Exterior cameras are available and are exclusively for the safety of the premises. They are not aimed at interiors and can be deactivated as needed. The garbage bins are located in the shared guest parking spaces of the cottage area. Notes on garbage collection and garden irrigation can be found in the calendar on the fridge. We are very happy if guests occasionally water the garden in dry summer weather. Other things to note The sleeping areas upstairs are small, cozy rooms and part of the special character of the house. However, it is also quite tight there: – the 140x200 cm bed is only accessible from one side – the second bedroom is very compact and has an 80x200 cm bed as well as a pull-out sleeping chair (approx. 70x190 cm) The alcove on the ground floor with 180x200 cm bed is also only accessible on one side. The house is therefore particularly suitable for guests who appreciate a cozy, individual holiday home atmosphere. If you need a lot of space or double access to the bed, this should be taken into account when booking. All bedrooms, alcoves, kitchen, both bathrooms and two windows in the living area have professionally built insect screens. So pleasant and permanent ventilation is also possible in high summer. The house is family friendly but not toddler-proof. The stairs are not secured, nor is the fireplace. There is also a small garden pond. Small children should therefore not be left unattended. For older children, there is a trampoline in the garden, board games, table tennis paddles and a basketball for the nearby, very nice playground. The dining area is rather compact with three chairs and a bench. An IKEA-INGOLF high chair is available (no secured high chair, more suitable for children from about 3 years). The house has a fiber optic connection, so home office is no problem. In Sieseby there are two lovely restaurants and an art house, but no grocery store. Shopping facilities are located in Rieseby or Vogelsang-Grünholz about ten minutes away by car. Eckernförde and Kappeln offer weekly markets, gastronomy and other infrastructure.
