👋 My name is Manuel. I offer you accommodation for a few days in an ideal setting if you value nature, tranquility and a peaceful atmosphere. You'll share some common spaces with me as a host and occasionally with my daughter Laura. I will be happy to help you with whatever you need, as well as offer you, if you wish, some additional services (guided tours, massages or exercise classes), so that you can make the most of your stay. The space 🏡 Located in a quiet residential area but only a five-minute walk from the village center, La Casita de Mataelpino is carefully decorated with oils, furniture and antique objects. From it you can see a beautiful panoramic view of the Sierra de Guadarrama and, dominating it, the emblematic mountain of La Maliciosa. Mataelpino enjoys a temperature between 3º and 5º less than Madrid capital. ¡Nights are pleasantly frecas! BEDROOMS: 🛌 You have two bedrooms to stay: · Master Bedroom (Bedroom 1): It has two comfortable 90x180 single beds, wardrobe, coat rack and a window with mountain view. It has a full bathroom next door, exclusively for guests. If you come by sun@ and you want, one of the beds can be removed to have more space a comfortable desk area. · Additional Bedroom (Bedroom 2): Available ONLY together with the main room, it is equipped with two folding beds of 80 × 180 cm, closet, coat rack and a small terrace with mountain views. Important: As this is an inhabited house, this room is part of a multipurpose space of the house and has shelves with books and some items, which does not affect the comfort or exclusive use of the room during your stay. It is an ideal option for families with one or two children, or for those who prefer to have a second bedroom. During the day, when folding the beds, the room recovers ample free space, perfect for children to play or just to enjoy a more uncluttered stay. Guest access 🛁 Bathroom It is next to the room and is exclusive use. 🌳 Garden and porch: For your enjoyment you will have a beautiful garden with almost total privacy. Designed like a small forest, you can relax in it and feel surrounded by nature. It has two spaces with tables and chairs, firewood and gas barbecue and a porch with a “chill out” corner and sofas. 🍽️ Kitchen ☕ You will be able to use the kitchen to prepare breakfasts, meals or dinners. You have everything you need for cooking: a saucepan, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, air fryer... and you also have teas, coffee, plant-based milk and cocoa. 💺 Living room. 📺 You will be able to make a discretionary and shared use of the living room to eat or watch your favorite series or film (we have Netflix and Amazón Prime), always maintaining the quiet and relaxed atmosphere of the house. 🚽Toilet in the lower floor (Shared) 🔥 Firewood and gas grill 🍖🌽 You'll be able to use them to your liking. If you need it, I will help you prepare the wood-burning barbecue. Note: The wood-fired BBQ is under maintenance until approximately August 10th. 🚲 Mountain bikes We have 2 for your use if you wish. 📶 Wi-Fi. Other things to note 🐕 PETS: I will be glad to have your dog with you as long as: · Have a quiet character · Do not climb on armchairs and beds · Not in the time of shedding hair You will have a feeder and drinker so you don't have to bring your own, if it's more comfortable for you. Dogs are only allowed as pets. On 🥖 Thursdays you can buy organic bread and sourdough artisan. It is necessary to book it Tuesday or Wednesday. ADDITIONAL ✨ EXPERIENCES: I am an experienced hiker and mountaineer and I have known the Sierra de Guadarrama and its villages for years. In addition, I am a body-mind exercise instructor and I have a degree in massage, so you can expand your experience by booking one of these activities: 🥾 Guided hiking or transportation to the start and end of the route, if you prefer to do it on your own. 💆 Relaxing Massage. Yoga, Relaxation or Stretching & Mobility 🧘 Sessions. ✨OTHER EXPERIENCES IN THE AREA: 🌲🚶🏻🚶🏻‍♀️ Numerous hiking trails, mountaineering and climbing routes for all levels. Municipal and natural 🤽‍♀️ pools in nearby villages. 🎭🎊🎺 In summer there are many cultural and festive activities around the area, such as the famous "Boloencierro de Mataelpino" (Last week of August).
