Quiet homestay rooms in Percy-en-Normandie, ideal for a nature stay in the Norman bocage, with a private bathroom and living room/kitchen area. On-site equestrian boarding with our partner. The space Reconnect with nature! The accommodation is located on an equestrian farm in the heart of the countryside, while being close to all amenities. Outside there is space to park your vehicle, trailer, van, etc. There are meadows with chickens and horses all around the accommodation. Our 2 farm cats will certainly come to greet you during your stay. An outdoor table is also available for you to have your coffee or meal outside if you wish. The entrance has a cabinet to store your shoes, a coat rack with an umbrella stand, and leads on one side to a kitchen/living room area reserved for guests and to our private space on the other side. Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with toilet (hand soap and toilet paper provided) reserved for guests, as well as our private bedroom. You will have two bedrooms that offer a pleasant view of the horses and allow you to admire magnificent sunrises. One is equipped with a 140 x 190 double bed, a wardrobe and storage shelves. The second has a 140x190 double bed and 2 single beds (pull-out), 2 closets with shelves, an armchair and a dressing table. The 2 bedrooms have heating, a blackout curtain and a desk. Bedding and bath towels are not provided. Books are also available for you to use. Slippers are mandatory upstairs (bare solid wood flooring). Our private area has 2 dogs that you may come across during their daily walks. Guest access The accommodation is set back from the main road in a quiet rural area, at the end of a cul-de-sac. Located 3 km (1.9 miles) from the center of Percy, its weekly market, and its many local shops (Intermarché, gas station, bakery, grocery store, butcher shop, fishmonger, auto repair shop, etc.), as well as its local producers (honey, cider, organic market gardeners, etc.). For those who enjoy walking, the accommodation is at the foot of the “Sur la trace des fondeurs de cloches” long-distance hiking trail, and Mont Robin is 3 km (1.9 miles) away. Numerous tourist sites nearby: 10 minutes from Hambye, 15 minutes from Villedieu-les-Poêles, 20 minutes from Saint-Lô and Gavray, 30 minutes from Coutances, 35 minutes from Vire-Normandie, 40 minutes from Carentan, Isigny-sur-Mer, and Granville with its shuttles to the Chausey Islands, 55 minutes from Bayeux, 1 hour from the D-Day landing beaches. A84 (toll-free) 10 minutes from the property (1 hour from Caen and Rennes, 45 minutes from Mont Saint-Michel, 25 minutes from Avranches). Plenty of beaches within 30 minutes, with stunning sunsets over the sea! During your stay Option to pick up guests at Villedieu-les-Poêles train station, subject to a mileage charge of €20/trip/car (3 seats/car). Great for a horse-riding getaway from major cities. During your stay, we remain at your disposal, and a simple text message will let us know about any questions or needs you may have. Other things to note Slippers are mandatory upstairs (bare wood floors)! Please do not feed the animals on site. Please note: The accommodation has a steep staircase with high steps and is not suitable for children under 10, infants, or people with reduced mobility.
