The space The Digeskolen (Danish "Deichschule") Vollerwiek was originally built in 1930 as a school building and kindergarten for the Danish minority on the Eiderstedt peninsula. The house is listed and has been converted into a modern holiday apartment building in recent years by an elaborate core renovation. This created an exciting and visible contrast between old and new. With great respect for tradition and history of the historic property, the building was made fit for the journey into the 21st century.
