Solhøgda - a small idyllic country house by the forest

Idyllic and undisturbed cabin surrounded by forest and birdsong. The unique glass porch gives the feeling of sitting out in nature all year round. Enjoy quiet moments under the more tree, morning coffee on the balcony, or the sun on one of the many patios. Great hiking opportunities just outside the door, and the river invites you to a refreshing bathroom just a short walk away. The cabin is located between Grimstad and Arendal, with a short distance to beaches, stores, cafes, and a wide range of activities. Featured in the magazine Lev Landlig. The space The cabin is located on a spacious 2.5 acre lot with plenty of space for play, relaxation and parking. Child-friendly surroundings with lots of bolting space. The cabin has 3 bedrooms and a total of 6 beds. One bedroom is located on the 1st floor with a small double bed with room for 2 people. There is a door to the bedroom with an open window with a lace curtain in front of it. On the second floor there are two adjoining bedrooms with an open connection between the rooms, with a total of 4 beds (two single beds and a small double bed/sleeping sofa). The stairs up to 2. floor are relatively steep. From one bedroom there is an exit to a small balcony with stairs down to the garden. Amenities include bathroom with shower and toilet, washing machine, fireplace and several pleasant patios. A traditional outdoor toilet is also available on the property. For a real cabin experience, there is neither a dishwasher, TV or WiFi – here you can lower your shoulders and enjoy the calm. Guest access Guests will have the entire cabin for themselves. Other things to note Important information: Bed sheets and towels are not provided. Guests must bring bed linen (sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases) as well as towels. Optionally, you can pay an additional NOK 75 per person for bed linen and towels. In that case, please let me know when booking :) Do not smoke No partying Otherwise, it's a simple cabin with a very simple standard. In the bathroom, the ceiling spotlights do not work, so there is only light from a lamp with an outlet above the sink. There is therefore some dim lighting in the bathroom, especially in the evening. The floor is a bit cold, so please feel free to bring slippers. Otherwise, there are two more pairs available for loan as well.
