The space The house, with over a century of history, preserves the typical design of Alentejo houses. Its restoration respected the original architecture, highlighting the very thick walls, high ceilings, and small windows that have always helped keep the house cool on hot summer days and cozy during the winter. The Alentejo Refuge was designed so that each guest feels at home. The rooms offer a tranquil and comfortable environment, ideal for resting and enjoying the calm rhythm of the Alentejo. During your stay, you can enjoy a large common room, where the old fireplace, currently deactivated, preserves the character and authenticity of the house. The fully equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, kettle, and everything you need to prepare your meals. Outside, you will find a pleasant garden area with tables and chairs, perfect for having breakfast, reading a book, or simply relaxing in the shade of the fruit trees. To complete the experience, you can also enjoy the jacuzzi, which can accommodate five people, free of charge. In addition to your room, you can freely enjoy the various common areas of the accommodation. **Equipped and shared kitchen**, ready for you to prepare or heat your meals whenever you wish. **Living room**, a cozy space to relax, read, chat, or simply enjoy a quiet moment. **Outdoor area**, where you will find tables and chairs in the shade of fruit trees, ideal for an al fresco meal or to appreciate the tranquility of the Alentejo region. **Outdoor Jacuzzi**, available for you to relax and enjoy your stay. All these spaces are shared by guests. We only ask that you use them respectfully towards other guests, helping us to maintain the peaceful and welcoming atmosphere that characterizes Refúgio Alentejano. Other things to note For your convenience, access to the accommodation is via a code, which will be sent to you on the day of check-in. This code will only be used upon your arrival.
