Description
The Old Stables is a completely self-contained detached building with its own parking space, in the village of Buxted. The Old Stables benefits from sitting on the edge of a wild meadow where guests are welcome to take a stroll or enjoy the wildlife and peaceful birdsong. There are two pubs, a shop and train station within a 5 minute walk. Set within the boundaries of Ashdown Forest there are numerous lovely walks on the doorstep and the town of Uckfield is a short drive away. The space The Old Stables has under-floor heating through-out, an open plan living area with sofa bed, log burner, smart TV, kitchen with breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes oven, hob, microwave, kettle toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. The bedroom has a double bed and a small hanging space and an en-suite with shower, toilet and heated towel rail. Should guests wish to have the sofa bed made up when only 2 guests are staying this will incur an additional charge of £10/night. Guest access The Old Stables benefits from self check-in with a key lock by the door, the code will be sent to guests on the morning of their arrival. The property is accessed directly from the High Street and shares a private driveway with the main house. The building is completely separate from the house and there is a seating area to the front. Other things to note During the winter months we provide kindling, firelighters and a bucket of logs should guests require additional this will incur an additional charge.
