Diana's Cottage

Diana's Cottage, the former dairy on one of Braunton's original family farming estates comfortably accommodates 5 guests in 2 bedrooms. This recently renovated 16th century cottage oozes charm and character throughout, but has been thoughtfully furnished to offer couples and small families comfortable accommodation in an idyllic countryside setting. Close to the beach this beautiful house is the perfect base for day trips with the family. The space Inside the cottage, a bright and spacious living room with a high vaulted ceiling features large comfy sofas, a flat screen TV and DVD player. A large kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a self-catering holiday and features a lovely dining area with enough seating for 5 guests. A staircase from the kitchen leads up to the first floor, where guests can find the two bedrooms and a family bathroom. There is a spacious well-presented master bedroom with a king-sized bed (or can be made up as a twin, depending on your requirements), as well as a second bedroom with three full size single beds. When not relaxing in the cottage, venture out to your own secret private garden, which is hidden behind a high wood gate and wall. The garden, which is enclosed, is mainly laid to lawn and features a table and chairs for summer afternoon BBQs and a selection of outdoor games.‍ Ground floor Living room: Two sofas, desk, smart TV, DVD player, WiFi Kitchen: Electric Aga, separate electric cooker with hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, and dining table with seating for 5 guests. First Floor Bedroom 1: Double or twin room: can be made up as king-sized bed or as two full size singles. Bedroom 2: Triple room: With two standard full size single beds, and one full size single sleigh bed. Bathroom: Bath with shower overhead and wash basin. The WC is located separately next to the bathroom Outside Private garden behind a blue gate Parking for one car (additional car parking is available) Guest access Guests have access to the whole cottage, and a private garden. The garden is visible from looking out from the property , and is accessed from a blue gate in a higher wall marked “Diana’s Cottage Garden “. Other things to note Diana's Cottage is situated within the grounds of the Buckland Barton estate, and is accessed via a private drive. The main house of the estate is also located within the grounds, as well as another holiday let. There is a public footpath near the cottage too.
