The space A newly restored 150 m2, 2-story farmhouse comprising: Open plan kitchen/dining room/living room with a central wood-burning stove, a table that can accommodate up to 8 people, sofas and armchairs, and a 50" 4K UHD TV. The KITCHEN is fully equipped with an electric oven, microwave, 3-burner gas stove, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, and capsule coffee machine. A BATHROOM on the ground floor with shower/sink and toilet Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are en suite. The master bedroom has a KING bed and an ensuite with sink\toilet and shower. The "middle" bedroom includes a double bed and a workspace with Wi-Fi. The "children's" bedroom has 2 single bunk beds. Linens and bath towels are provided. Fully enclosed GARDEN, safe for animals and children, with a pergola and a wooden picnic table. THE SURROUNDINGS: The house is surrounded by fields and forests, with a golf course 7 km away. Greenway for hiking, jogging or cycling 7 km away. Horseback riding nearby. The house is located next to the town of Bernay, founded in the 10th century, a small town with a semi-pedestrian historic center and half-timbered houses. Every Saturday, at the big market, you can buy local products: cider, cheeses, etc. 10 minutes away is a large supermarket where you can stock up and buy local products. Many garage sales are organized year-round. Near the house is a Norman inn, where you can enjoy good traditional meals at low prices. You can also discover the nearby Abbey of Bec Hellouin, many castles (Château du Champ de Bataille, Château de Beaumesnil, Château d'Harcourt, etc.), take the Route des Chaumières, or meet local farmers during farm visits. You will love staying in this charming house! Guest access Guests have access to the entire house except for 1 room on the ground floor and the garage, which will be locked. Other things to note Linens and towels are provided. The beds are made before you arrive. In winter, the radiators are turned on before your arrival. A trunk filled with firewood and firelighters will be available for you to use. Guests will be responsible for purchasing any additional firewood at the Leclerc Center in Menneval. 12 coffee capsules will be provided free of charge with the coffee machine.
