Spacious house in Solvorn, Luster

Start the day with a cup of coffee on the balcony with a lovely view of Lusterfjord, part of Sognefjord (the world's longest fjord). The space Here you can choose from several hiking trails that go through beautiful nearby nature, visit Urnes stave church (the world's oldest stave church), drive or cycle the romantic route around the fjord, or go on a snowshoe hike on Jostedalsbreen (the largest mainland glacier in Europe). About the House Enjoy a beautiful and spacious house with five bedrooms all to yourself. The house is located in the most idyllic village on the Lusterfjord, Solvorn. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a large living room with a dining area, two bathrooms, one toilet, and two lounge areas (basement and loft). About the village Solvorn is one of those small, charming, and historic villages that only the lucky few stumble upon. The area has been inhabited since the Viking era. The center of Solvorn, down by the fjord, still has many of the original buildings, some of them dating back to the late 1600s. Walaker Hotel, a reputable and historic hotel, is considered one of the oldest hotels in Norway. In the summer, you can enjoy the beautiful beach by the teal, crystal-clear fjord water, and in the winter, take evening walks through the beautiful, white moonshine landscape. About the host I'm retired, a father of three wonderful adult children, and a true Solvorning resident. I grew up in this town and moved back after a few years away. I want to share my home with you travelers. Welcome to my house! Guest access Entire house. One room on the main floor is locked. The homeowner lives periodically in the annex on the property. Other things to note Recommended activities in the area: - Hike to Molden, fantastic view, about 10/15 minutes drive - Swimming in Solvorn, about a 10-minute walk from the house - Trip to Jostedalsbreen, about 1 hour drive - Lustrabui, many good temptations at this bakery. About 30 minutes drive - Lustrabadet, approx. 20 min drive - Sogndal; hike on the fjord trail, cinema, shopping, bowling, restaurants, cafes, mountain hikes. About 20 min drive - Visit Urnes stave church. Ferry from the quay in Solvorn - Cycle around Lustrafjorden, you can cycle the round trip from the house, but you have to take the ferry Solvorn-Urnes or Urnes-Solvorn - Farm shop Bøthun Farm - Other mountain trips (ask for tips)
