Teelin Road House is located a stones throw from the village of Carrick. Five minutes drive to Europe's highest sea cliffs, Slieve Liag. An ideal location for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way. In less than a minute from the doorstep is Evelyn's Central Bar where you are guaranteed a good welcome and great Guinness, food served here during the Summer and Easter. Live music and trad sessions every weekend and mid week during the Summer season. Sliabh Liag Lodge is another fantastic option for food, drinks and also live music. The famous Rusty Mackeral is approx five kilometre walk from the house, serving excellent food and drink with music daily during peak seasons. The Rusty Mackeral also operates a courtesy bus to get you home after a pint or two. Situated in the village is Ireland by Bike, where you can rent electric bicycles while you stay in the area. Well worth a visit, they cater for groups/individuals and even have infant seats and they will recommend some lovely routes. There is a local butchers in town, a small groceries store, and a fresh fruit and veg market every Thursday. Local attractions include the Slieve Liag Cliffs, also see Sliabh Liag boat tours departing from Teelin Pier every two hours during peak season, while you're there we recommend Sliabh Liag Sauna as well. The Silver Strand Beach Malinbeg and the Glencolmcille Folk Museum would also be on top of our list for a day trip around the local area.
