Lilla Dalhem

Slow down in this unique, soothing, traditional Swedish cottage. Wake up to the sound of birds singing and enjoy your morning coffee in the sun, while experiencing the smell of pine trees and hearing the babbling stream next to the cottage. Experience the endless Swedish forests and make a campfire in the evening to prepare your own food. Enjoy the privacy among the greenery and relax in this simple but cozy Swedish Stuga. The space In Lilla Dalhem, you will experience the traditional Swedish lifestyle. Back to basics, but with a nice atmosphere. It is a typical Swedish, cozy cottage with a low ceiling. People 1.80 m tall can stand upright, taking into account lower door frames. There is plenty of privacy and greenery. Lilla Dalhem consists of an entrance/hall, kitchen, living room, bedroom and a toilet room with storage space for clothes, for example. Outside, there is plenty of space (2000 m2) to relax or, for example, to make a campfire (there is a grill grate available). Two bags of wood are included as standard. Extra wood is available on request. The kitchen is equipped with every comfort, except for running water. Drinking water is provided in a large jerry can and can be refilled at any time by the host when a message is sent. Please note: there is a chemical toilet, similar to a toilet in a camper/caravan. This toilet is emptied and replaced by the host when it is full. There is no bathroom/shower. You can wash with the water from the jerry can (possibly heated with a kettle) in the kitchen. In the room to the right of the outdoor toilet, there is a fold-out drying rack on the wall. The nearest supermarket is a 10-minute drive away in Storå. If you are looking for a slightly more extensive selection, then Lindesberg (15 minutes by car) is a great place. There are several supermarkets, a pet shop, department stores, etc. here. There is also an access point to the lake a 10-minute drive away, where you can take a boat out on the water, and a bathing area. Two inflatable packrafts (to be carried in a backpack) are available for €15 each per day. Furthermore, the area is perfect for (long) walks or other outdoor activities. There is direct access to the (private) forest from Lilla Dalhem, so you can go into nature right away. Feel free. Dogs are welcome :) Other things to note Waste separation consists of residual waste (gray waste bag) and plastic packaging (purple waste bag). Full garbage bags may be placed by the containers along the street.
