Welcome to our detached home in the lovely village of Lambourn. Your room has a king-size bed, & tea/coffee facilities. It’s on a separate side of the house for added privacy, with a shared bathroom next door. Sleeps 4 across 2 large doubles (2nd room listed separately) 2 mins to High Street: shops, pubs, eateries & walks Secure off-street parking Ideal for walkers, racing fans & weekend breaks 10 mins from M4; 45 mins to Oxford, Winchester & Salisbury Near the Ridgeway & Sheepdrove The space Bright & Peaceful Double Room in Detached House Our spacious, light-filled double room sits within a quiet detached home on a peaceful Close in Lambourn. The room looks out over our small back garden. Located on the opposite side of the house from us, it offers added privacy. You'll have a king-size bed, a small desk/vanity with mirror and chair, wardrobe, chest of drawers, tea/coffee-making facilities, and fast Wi-Fi. The modern bathroom is right next to the room and features a bath, a large separate shower, and WC. It’s only shared if our second guest room is also booked. We’re Jo and Neil, and we live here with Billy—our gorgeous, very friendly red fox Labrador. Our four daughters are grown up and now live away. We offer two double rooms, perfect for friends or family staying together. (The rooms are side by side.) It’s rare for both rooms to be booked at the same time, so the bathroom is usually all yours. We have our own en suite. You’re very welcome to make yourself at home in our spacious lounge/dining area, which we’re happy to share. There’s also a large, well-equipped kitchen with an island, bar stools, and a TV. Feel free to use it for cooking or eating, and you’re welcome to store things in the fridge. Our garden wraps around the house with various seating spots—perfect for relaxing with a drink. During your stay We're happy to interact with guests, but are very pleased to respect your privacy too. We both work full time, but will be around when you are here, so can support you. We can of course give you lots of useful local information. Other things to note Check in and out at weekends: More flexibility for later check out and earlier check in at weekends. Breakfast: not provided. There is a guest fridge that you can use and so if you'd like anything specific please feel free to bring it. There are also 2/3 places to get a nice cooked brekkie in the village. Our dog: We have 2 labrador dogs called Monty and Billy They don't go upstairs in the house, so won't bother you in your room, but will be in the communal areas. If you're here for more than a night in the weekdays they will be in the house with you and we may be at work. They are very friendly though! Parking: Depending on the number of cars there is parking on the gated drive. Otherwise, parking in the close outside.
