Barrington Tops Wilderness Cabin at Salisbury

This cosy cabin sits just inside the World Heritage listed Barrington Tops National Park. It’s the perfect place to unwind or explore the surrounding wilderness. FREE LATE CHECKOUT, until 2pm. We want you to make the most of your stay with us, particularly if you are only here for a weekend. You can enjoy a full morning of bushwalking or relaxing, before you need to head home. Check in time is 2pm. The space About the Area: * 5 min walk to the 3.5km Bluegum loop. * Rocky Crossing walk, a 12km return walk - or accessed more closely by a short drive. * 5 min walk to the Crystal Pools swimming hole * Base for a Carey’s Peak hike - for the very fit and adventurous! * Adjacent to the Chichester state forest, visit the Ladies Well. About the Cabin: We are Cabin number 5, of a group of 20, known as The Barrington Wilderness Cottages. They were originally part of the Barrington Guest House (for those familiar with the area). Although often you will find that only a few of the other cabins will be occupied for your stay. * 2 Queen beds. One is in the downstairs bedroom, and the other is upstairs in the loft area. A queen sofa bed is also available upstairs. * Shared BBQ facilities and a Tennis court. * We have a Full Sized Fridge, perfect for longer stays. * Cooking: We have a gas cook top, a microwave, airfryer, toasted sandwich maker, rice cooker, as well as communal BBQs. * Coffee pod machine (Nespresso pods) & Tea making supplies provided. * Cosy Gas Fire * Reverse cycle Airconditioning & 3 ceiling fans. * All linen, towels, & cleaning supplies provided. * Lovely morning sun, gorgeous views, lots of very friendly birdlife (birdseed provided). * Family games, cards, puzzles, books, DVDs, tennis racquets & balls provided. * 2 Televisions and 2 DVD players * Spa bath, and shower over the tub. * Wifi is available at the tennis court - There is NO WIFI in the cabin. * Unfortunately there is NO MOBILE COVERAGE in the area. (use wifi for calls) * Parking for one car.
