Welcome to relax and enjoy a modern sauna cabin by the sea in the popular Kustavi area. The cottage combines stunning sea views with the tranquility of nature. Large windows bring plenty of natural light into the space and make the landscape a part of the interior. On summer evenings, you can enjoy the sea view from your own terrace – the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day. Modern details and a cozy atmosphere make your stay pleasant all year round. The space The sauna cabin (30 m²), built in 2019, has a living room with a sofa bed for two, a kitchenette, and a stove. There is underfloor heating in the room, sauna, and toilet. In the fully covered space between the sauna and the room, there is a table set, a summer kitchen, and a separate toilet (Separett). There is an infrared heater in the vestibule. During cold weather, the temperature of the indoor terrace is not the same as the room temperature. In front of and behind the cottage, there is a large terrace area with furniture and a gas and charcoal grill. The gas grill was replaced in 2023. The property also has a large slate-covered patio with a seating area. Wood can be found behind the stone pile on the slope, which can also be used if necessary. Only cold water is supplied to the summer kitchen. In both summer and winter, it is recommended to keep a small fire in the sauna stove, which has a large water tank. You can safely carry water from the water tank to the sink in the summer kitchen. There is a small opening at the top of the water tank. The tank is filled with a special watering can. Kustavi has iron-rich water, but the water that comes to the cottage comes through a water treatment device. The water is suitable for drinking, but from time to time there may be issues with taste, color, or odor. Guest access The entire cottage and yard, including the stone patio, are available for guests to use. The rock behind the fireplace is also part of the property. You can climb up there to admire the sea view from a higher vantage point. Other things to note You can even moor a 9-meter-long pontoon boat to the dock at Mökkiranta. I'll pay a small fee for boat storage at the dock. The edges and end of the dock have been dredged to a depth of 1.5 to 2 meters. The property has a boat berth (for a 5-6 m long boat) for rent about 2 km away at the Parattula Bay village dock, which is a better option than the cabin dock in windy weather. The car should be parked about 60 meters away in the yard of the owner's red-brown storage building. The property also has an electric vehicle charging station (fee-based use; contact the owner for more information). The final 60 meters (200 feet) are a gravel path where cars are not allowed. Linens and final cleaning are not available at this property, so please remember to bring your own sheets and towels and to perform the final cleaning before you leave. Linen tablecloths are available, but of course you can bring your own.
