Quiet room with forest views, ideal for recharging in nature. Access to the living room and equipped kitchen. Shared bathroom, separate WC. Garden and yoga/meditation space available. Forest just a short walk away. Homemade meals, carefully prepared, upon request. I live on site, and my partner is often there. Accommodation located in Souboz, in a small rural village surrounded by nature. The space I live in this house in a simple way, and I like to take care of the place. Nature plays an important role in my daily life, as do peace and quiet, natural products, and an eco-friendly way of living. You're not just renting a room: you're staying in an inhabited house, which I share with you for the duration of your stay. I appreciate straightforward, authentic interactions, while fully respecting everyone's need for privacy and their own pace. If you prefer authentic places to standardized accommodations, you'll probably feel right at home here. If you are primarily looking for completely independent and impersonal accommodation, a hotel or an apartment will probably be better suited to your needs. Guest access Guests can use the living room and kitchen, the yoga/meditation room, the balcony and the garden. During your stay I live on site and enjoy simple and authentic encounters. Exchanges and shared moments happen spontaneously when they arise. Everyone is free to enjoy their stay at their own pace, respecting everyone's space and freedom. Other things to note The place is intended to be a place for rejuvenation. There is no Wi-Fi and no television. Souboz is a small rural village: there is no shop or restaurant in the village, and public transport is limited. A car can therefore be useful, depending on your stay. Parking space in front of the house. Limited public transportation. 5 buses per day on weekdays. No bus on Saturdays. 3 buses on Sundays during the summer season (no bus on Sundays from November to April). If you come by public transport, remember to check the timetable beforehand. Stop: Souboz village. If you arrive by public transport, I can sometimes offer a transfer from Moutier train station, for a fee, when my availability allows. Please don't hesitate to contact me about this before booking. The kitchen can be used for meal preparation. If desired, I can also prepare home-cooked meals for a fee. I also provide some items from my kitchen to make guests' stays easier. Customized retreat: If you would like to enjoy your stay as a truly rejuvenating experience, I also offer customized retreats lasting a few days, tailored to your needs and desires. Depending on what works for you, I can, in particular, support fasting periods, the resumption of eating after a fast, and prepare meals suitable for various diets: ketogenic, vegan, or adapted to certain intolerances. The retreat can also include a space for listening and speaking, to share what you are going through, to put words to what needs to be said, or simply to be welcomed in what is there, with no obligation to speak. Shops and food services: A small café-grocery store, Le Choc, is open on Sundays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, from early May to late October. In the neighboring hamlet of Les Écorcheresses, a self-service shop offers farm products: eggs, dairy products, sausages, jams (no bread). The nearest restaurants are in Moutier, Bellelay, Undervelier or Tavannes. The nearest shops are in Moutier and Tavannes. In Undervelier, you will also find a cooperative grocery store offering, among other things, bulk products. Access to Biel/Bienne: If you have a professional commitment in Biel/Bienne and are looking for accommodation in the area, please note that Souboz is about 35–40 minutes from Biel/Bienne when traffic is light. The road to the town is currently under construction and regularly experiences slowdowns and traffic jams, especially in the mornings and evenings. Travel time can therefore be significantly longer depending on the time of day.
