Our rooms are a perfect place to relax and unwind and are situated on the southern reach of the Norfolk & Suffolk Broads. From the location you can easily paddle to the iconic Locks Community Pub or a little more effort to Beccles Town or if you want a real challenge to Bungay Town. We put wellness at the top of our list, book our wood fired Swedish sauna and try a wild spa. The rooms have 100% cotton bedding, includes a fridge, kettle & hair dryer and has an en-suite shower room. The space The Marina View room is one of our first floor rooms. When you step through the door, you will enter a stylish room of colourful decor and cosy luxury. To the East side of the room you will find the bed(s), with smooth white bed linen and big comfortable pillows. This room can either be set up as a twin room with two full size single beds or a Super King size bed. A small velux lets in natural light from above and faces east to catch the morning sun which creates a soft, relaxing atmosphere. Opposite the beds you will find your tea & coffee making facilities and a small table to sit at. On the North side of the room is a large triple pane window overlooking the Geldeston Marina, where you can watch the boats bob or to spot wildlife and take in the relaxing scenery. There is a stylish en-suite shower room. If booked with the Willow room the whole upstairs is yours to share, ideal for a family as the Marina View room can be configured as a twin room with two single beds. Is Marina View for me? Marina is a perfect for a traveller looking to explore the beautiful Waveney River and Valley. Perfect for walkers, bird watchers, and people interested in getting out on the river. In the lower season of October to April it is a super serene place, perfect for inner peace and enjoying the darkness and stillness of the area. The room is a double room and has space for a travel cot if you are looking to travel with a baby or toddler. Outside are public picnic tables that can be used and a BBQ could be had, a small child’s play area, floating pontoon for river access and outdoor showers as well. During your stay We are on-site during the summer from 9am to 9pm and also reachable by phone/message outside of these hours.
