MommaPeggs, a small hobby ranch, is a wonderful stop on your way thru the Sierra foothills toward the majestic Yosemite National Park. Along the way, there are many small-town historical sites to view. If it is a country experience you would like, then this is a stop you need to have. The charm of the country has the extra perk of MommaPeggs Pantry with a delightful menu. Campsite #3 is a beautiful spot to set up your tent or camper/RV. There is an outhouse that is shared on the property. Guests will have access to their campsite and a shared outhouse. Guests will also have access to a propane firepit and availability for a cooking space. The host, Peggy, lives on the premises and will be available to orient guests to the property and answer questions. More interaction is possible depending on the guests' preference. This is a quiet laid back country setting on a small 7-acre hobby farm. Neighbors are a distance away. The property is surrounded by historical sites, which all include biking, hiking, old towns, great spring-fed lakes, or just the peace and quiet of nature itself. This is a remote area and only accessible by personal vehicle. Guests can drive onto the property and park near their campsite. Also available to rent on this property are three additional campsites, a full-size camper, two campsites with tents already set up that include cots with bedding, and three tiny cabins that have cots with linens.
