Description
A beautiful and luxurious re-styled stone built cottage nestled in the heart of the Tyne Valley, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Plunderheath Cottage provides the perfect escape for those looking for a relaxing getaway and to explore Northumberlands Roman history, beautiful towns and villages all set in a stunning landscape. Relax on the balcony with a coffee or a glass of your favourite tipple. There is a small peaceful garden opposite solely for your use with a stream running through it The space Plunderheath Cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard to offer guests a serene and luxurious experience during their stay. On the ground floor is a fully fitted kitchen and dining area and an adjacent bathroom. Upstairs there is a spacious lounge where you can relax in front of a wood burning stove. Off the lounge is a door that leads on to a small balcony. From the lounge is a door that leads into a double bedroom. Other things to note We would like to make guests aware that due to the age of the Cottage, the ceiling height downstairs is only 1.95m (6ft4inches) high and therefore not suitable for people above this height. On arrival guests will be provided with a small welcome pack that consists of our own fresh eggs, locally baked bread, 1/2L semi skimmed milk, homemade biscuits, a small pot of butter and jam plus a bottle of wine. Tea, ground coffee and sugar are provided as standard. A basket of logs will be provided for the wood burning stove, if more logs are required these can be purchased on request from the hosts Steve & Kirsty, who live next door.
