Connect and Retreat at Hyco Hangout

This home was thoughtfully crafted to entertain and bring loved ones together, whether you're soaking in calming lake views or jumping into endless water activities. Start your mornings with a warm cup of coffee in the spacious sunroom overlooking the serene lake. In the evening, cozy up by the bonfire and enjoy perfect summertime sunsets—a view you truly have to see to believe (check out the photos!). The space The Hangout’s unique layout provides the perfect gathering place for multiple friends and families to enjoy Hyco Lake together. The main house offers a large windowed sunroom to enjoy lake views, especially the sunsets. The first floor offers a master bedroom with a full bathroom. The second floor provides five spacious bedrooms (several with lake views), a large full bathroom, and a connected full bath in bedroom #5. Our unique setup offers a second “house” across the breezeway, complete with a kitchenette, appliances, and a stunning spiral staircase leading to bedroom #6. This bedroom also connects through to the main house via bedroom #5. The second house, the 'hut', can be entered on the main level across the breezeway and provides an additional 550 square feet of space to gather, with a full bathroom on the main level. Between these two spaces is a 700 sqft breezeway with covered outdoor seating that overlooks the lake. This spacious home can comfortably accommodate 15 guests on beds. The bedroom/bathroom layout is as follows. 1st floor Bedroom #1: King Bed, attached full bathroom Common space: 1/2 bath 2nd floor: Large full bathroom (door separating shower/toilet and double sink with mirrors) Bedroom #2: 3 twin beds (two twins and one mattress on the floor) Bedroom #3: King bed (lake view) Office/bedroom #4: Queen with L-shaped desk (lake view) Bedroom #5: (2nd Master, above breezeway): King bed with full bathroom (lake view) Bedroom #6: (2nd floor of hut) two twin trundle beds, door connecting to 2nd master (Bedroom #5), and door to spiral staircase to the Hut 1st floor. The house also contains a Pack & Play. Beyond sleeping accommodations, our cove has low boat traffic with a shallow water entry. The lake is perfect for swimming, kayaking, and fishing off the spacious dock. The Hangout includes all the amenities you would want or need at a lake: 2 kayaks, fishing poles & tackle, water toys, propane grill, indoor board/card games, firepit, free WIFI, and a 50' TV with a Roku Stick and Netflix account included (or use your streaming accounts). Guest access ADDITIONAL PONTOON BOAT RENTAL OPTIONS! With over 160 miles of shoreline to explore, your stay is not complete without a boat. BOAT RENTAL: Our dock also has a Harris 23' Pontoon boat (seats 15 ppl) with a 115HP 4 stroke Mercury that is available for rent. Included with the boat rental are all of the necessary ropes and accessories (tubes, skis, wakeboards, life jackets, etc.) to have plenty of hours of fun on the water. Depending on the number of passengers, the boat's max speed is around 20 mph. The boat must be rented for your entire stay, at a rate of only $300/full day of your rental (or $1,250 weekly) and a $200 fully refundable damage deposit (Ex: 4-night rental = 3 full days * $300 = $900 total). Note: The Boat Rental is also available for anyone who does not plan on renting with us, as long as the boat is available. Renters get first priority.
