There is a good selection of mugs, glasses, plates and cutlery. *Tea, coffee, sugar are provided as part of a welcome pack and there is salt and pepper. *There is a line in the garden for drying clothes in summer and an iron and board in the kitchen. * Patio garden with table and chairs. For those staying a month , a weekly clean is included (2 hours). Full clean (change linen, towels,deep bathroom) is extra, Any additional cleaning beyond the light cleaning is chargeable. Guest access Parking on the drive is free. The Railway station is about 12 minutes walk along Connaught Avenue and there you will find trains to Walton-on the-Naze with the well known Naze Tower and trains to Colchester and London (change at Thorpe Le Soken) . Clacton is 5 miles away by road and there are lots of places to explore from Dedham (John Constable Country) to Beth Chatto gardens. Mistley and Manningtree are about 30 minutes drive away with lots of pubs and restuarants to explore. The Lifehouse spa and Hotel is good for treatments, afternoon tea or a walk in the beautiful gardens. Other things to note There is a cot and high chair available on request. In summer and on hot nights you can hear pub and restaurant guests from the front bedroom, but all is quiet long before midnight.
