Country Garden Yurt Retreat in Norfolk

Relax and recharge in the south Norfolk countryside. Set amongst secluded country garden. This traditional Mongolian yurt is the perfect place to escape and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the English Countryside. 20 minutes to the heart or Norwich, 10 minutes to Wymondham market town. Local country walks including the UK smallest nature reserve! The yurt has its own facilities a short stroll away with proper flush loo, shower and full furnished camp kitchen with hot water. The space This Yurt offers a cosy and different space filled with curios , if you love both nature and unique characteristics then this country retreat yurt could be the perfect space for you to explore Norfolk. There is sofa for cosy nights under canvas and outdoor seats for sitting outside enjoying the woodland and gardens by your very own log burner and outdoor fire pit. Sensible use or wood is included for both log burner and fire pit 🔥 :) Fairy lights line the yurt path and yurt seating area. There is a full size double bed with a good quality mattress, electric blanket and comfortable bedding, and low level mood lighting to create a wonderful romantic feel. The yurt has soft underlay and wool carpet throughout. Electric fan, log burner and backup electric fireplace are all installed to keep you cosy or cool at night. Guest access You are welcome to explore parts of the landscaped grounds surrounding the woodland, as well as explore parts of the surrounding countryside that are well served by footpaths and tracks. Maps of the area can be found on the side stand. Other things to note Daylight arrival recommended: We are a good location for star gazing and we practice a low light pollution system, so recommend daylight arrival. If you do need to arrive after dark, please let us know so we can assist your arrival. Please have your lights on dip if you arrive after dark. The yurt is lovely a cool on summer evenings. A fan is provided for extra comfort for hot evenings. Sides of yurt can also be lifted for further air movement as can the crown cover. Box of games: The yurt has a box of tradition games, hot drink making facilities and a vintage wash stand. Bottled water: is provided for use in the yurt itself. Charging plug and USB point is available in the yurt as well as mains bedside lamp and digital radio. Pets: Well behaved pets are allowed, but we discourage more than one due to the size of the yurt. However we will consider multiple pets on a case by case basis. Please also be aware that although we welcome pets, the garden is an open shared space so pups are required to be on leads when outside. Toilet, kitchen and shower is short stroll from yurt. Kitchen has own under counter fridge and freezer. Regular cleaning is conducted to ensure a high level of bio security is observed. Disinfectant spray, antibacterial hand soap, wipes, disposable hand towels and alcohol gel are all provided.
