On the edge of a small village, this converted barn is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Nature lovers will find woodland walks just behind the property and a nearby country lane with magnificent views towards Dartmoor. Totnes and Dartmouth are both around 15 minutes away, offering great restaurants, cafes, interesting independent shops, and more. The SW costal path is also about a 15 minute drive and our nearest beach is Blackpool Sands, which has a sauna and excellent cafe. The space Tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, the property offers a peaceful place to unwind. It’s a semi-detached barn conversion, originally part of a farm and tastefully converted around 20 years ago. At the front, a small patio garden with seating is a perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening drink in the warmer months. Upstairs, the whole floor is a light and inviting open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining space, with wooden floorboards and high vaulted ceilings that give it a lovely sense of calm and space. There’s a large round table for relaxed meals and a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of storage. Downstairs, the comfortable bedroom is a good size and has its own en-suite bathroom with shower. There’s also a separate cloakroom with a toilet and washing machine off the hallway. Guest access Guests have access to the entire place apart from one room which is kept private for storage. Other things to note This is a well-maintained home that we also use personally, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere rather than a clinical or hotel-style environment. It is clean, tidy, and carefully looked after, with the comfort and character of a holiday home. Before we purchased it, the property was used as a holiday let. Fresh towels as well as bed linen are provided. A cat normally lives at the property, but it will not be present during guest stays. The home is thoroughly cleaned between visits, however, guests with cat allergies may still wish to take this into consideration.
