Gardener's Rest: Stylish room, rural, own entrance

Relax in a gorgeous ensuite room, where you arrive through a beautiful greenhouse. It's the perfect spot to breathe in fresh air and explore everything Jersey has to offer. Cycle the quiet country lanes. walk the stunning coastline or unwind in our garden. Easy parking - we recommend a car or bikes due to our rural location. Central to Jersey, just 1 mile from beaches, Zoo and War Tunnels. Tasty optional breakfast hamper (£7pp). Mini fridge, coffee machine, toaster and microwave in room. The space Your ensuite room is adjoined to our main house, but comfortably separate. You can park up, wander through our garden and greenhouse, and let yourselves into Gardener's Rest which is on the first floor above. Your room is spacious with a TV, bistro table and chairs, chest of drawers and hanging rail. There is a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle for tea and coffee, mini fridge, toaster, microwave crockery and cutlery within the room. We can replace with clean crockery as required, and there is a sink downstairs you are welcome to use. Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden and greenhouse to relax, read or have drink in the sunshine - although we will often be pottering around too (and always keen to hear about your day and give some Jersey tips!) Guest access Your bedroom and ensuite bedroom is exclusively yours. (We are happy to provide a mid-way clean for stays of over a week) If you opt for our tasty breakfast basket, it is left outside your door in the morning for you to collect and enjoy. You are welcome to relax in and wander round our garden, vegetable garden and greenhouse! We love to compare gardening notes with guests. During your stay I’m Jersey born (Geoff is a newer Jersey-bean) but we both love to chat about this lovely island so happy to give recommendations of things to do, places to eat etc! You will sometimes see us around and about (especially in the garden and greenhouse) but we respect your privacy. Guests can come and go as they please through their greenhouse entrance with a key. We’re keen runners and cyclists and so happy to suggest routes or drive you to Parkrun with us on a Saturday morning 😄🏃‍♀️ Other things to note You’ll enjoy our quiet, rural location and nowhere is too far away in a car or on bikes. Our local pub, the Trinity Arms is a 5 minute drive and St Helier is a 10 minute drive or 15 minutes downhill cycle. Our nearest bus stop is 10 minutes walk away, but the frequency is limited. We are happy to provide daily tasty breakfast basket (home made bread, jams, fruit, yoghurt, granola, cereal) for a small additional cost (£7pp). Please let us know any allergies/preferences in advance. We have an additional King Size bedroom and bathroom within our house which we are happy to offer if you are a group of 3 or 4. Daily continental breakfast could be provided within our kitchen. If you wish to book this bedroom in addition, message us for details and we can adapt the booking, and add the extra room fee.
