Grandma's house: peace and coziness by the lake.

Escape the hustle and bustle and come enjoy a lot of peace and quiet in our "Casinha da Vovó." A wooden house with a rustic and cozy look where the great attraction is the exterior where you can walk along the edge of a private lake or in the woods full of native trees cut by a river. You will sleep in a room with a wonderful view and wake up to the sound of birds. The house has a full kitchen, but breakfast is served in a basket for you and your companion to enjoy. The space It's a wooden playhouse located within “Sítio Alecrim,” where my wife Angelita and I are building our life project. We left the big city to have more contact with nature, and we want to share this experience with you. We also produce preserves and jams here on the farm, taking advantage of the abundant agricultural production in the Balsa Nova region. The facilities are simple but cozy, and you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay. You will have all the privacy you need, with a separate entrance. We do not recommend bringing your pet for the safety of your little animal, because although we have a fence around the property, it does not guarantee that small animals can be kept inside or outside the property; in other words, your pet could run away. For now, there is construction work underway in the shed next to the house, but on weekends, there are no workers on site. Guest access In addition to “Grandma's Little House,” you will have access to the woods along the Itaqui River. You can walk around our fish pond (and fish, if you like), and, depending on the time of day, enjoy a beautiful sunset (the sunrise is also wonderful). At night, we can arrange a campfire so that you and your group can admire the starry sky. In the future, we will still have orchards and a garden, but these are still under development. Access to the site includes 2 km of dirt road from the PR-510, but it is very easy and can be accessed with any type of vehicle. Other things to note A delicious breakfast basket, filled with local products, homemade bread and cake, and hot coffee, is included in the daily rate. You just need to let us know the day before what time you would like breakfast. Any allergies or dietary restrictions must be reported at the time of booking, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. As the house is made of wood and located in the middle of lush natural surroundings, you can expect the presence of “unwelcome visitors” such as mosquitoes, spiders, centipedes, and others.
