Angel Island View Inn is located on 16 Mile Lake near Munising, MI. Close to Pictured Rocks and many beautiful waterfalls. Our 1300 sq. ft. lower level apartment comes complete with 3 bedrooms, living room, dining and pool table area, kitchen and bathroom. There is a patio with a gas grill. The sidewalk off the patio leads to a dock were you have your choice of boats: fishing, kayaks, canoe, peddle boats or you might go for a swim. The area is great for hiking, biking, & ORV trails. The apartment is 1300 sq. ft. with three bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and dining area. When you awake in the morning you can fix your breakfast in the complete kitchen and eat in the dining area or out on the patio and watch the ducks glide by on the lake. You can spend your day swimming and boating on the lake or take a pictured rocks excursions. The evening can be spent at the campfire bowl making some-mores or just relaxing around the campfire. The lower level guest walkout apartment has a patio with a gas grill for cooking outdoors. There is a walkway to the dock and guests have access to kayaks, canoe, peddle boat, and row boat. Life jackets are available for use. There is a fire pit area with wood provided for guests to enjoy. In the parking area there is a basketball hoop for some one on one. Since we live on the upper level we are always available. But as we tell our guests you can have as much or as little contact with us as your comfortable with. The floor is soundproofed so noise is not a problem. As I tell folks, you are on vacation, enjoy and be as noisy as you like. Off of M94 you take two forest roads (dirt roads) to get here. We are on a peninsula so sixteen mile lake surrounds us on three sides with a lot of trees around us. It is very quiet, only sounds are birds, animals, wind in the trees and splashing of the water. You can sit on the lawn chair and watch bald eagles flying overhead. Great place to de-stress from your work world. You need a car for sightseeing. There are seventeen waterfalls in Alger county, so once you get to them you will have a little hike to most. There are hiking, biking and orv trails. Besides playing in the lake, There are many sight to see around the Munising, Alger County area. We have brochures and maps available to help you plan your daily trips.
