Located in the picturesque cul-de-sac village of Tornabarakony, on the edge of the Aggtelek National Park, our 100-year-old, renovated farmhouse offers the atmosphere of the past and the comforts of the modern era. The location of the property is ideal for nature lovers: • Located directly on the National Blue Trail route • There are many medieval castle ruins and caves to explore in the area. • The house is located on the edge of the forest, guaranteeing maximum quiet and undisturbed rest. The space *In the first room: 1 double bed for 2 people (with 2 separate 90x200 cm single mattresses), an armchair, a table with chairs, a wardrobe, and a dresser provide comfort. *In the back room: 3 separate single beds (90x180 cm) with mattresses, table, chairs, closet. *There are 2 pillows and 1 duvet or a classic bedspread per person. If necessary, there are extra blankets and pillows in the closet. *Entrance hall-living room: In cooler weather, a tiled stove provides warmth and atmosphere. The fuel is in the back woodshed, and we will help you light it by prior arrangement. *Kitchen: Accessible from the porch, equipped with basic kitchen utensils and spices. Dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker (Nespresso), microwave, PB gas stove with a cylinder, fridge-freezer, toaster. * bathroom: accessible from the porch, shower stall, sink, toilet. *covered terrace: garden furniture, lounge chairs, sunbed. Other things to note * The guest house was built in the early 1900s, and during its reconstruction, we tried to preserve the original architectural elements. The walls are made of pressed clay, and are thick and cool. The exterior doors and windows and interior doors are original, so they can easily be damaged due to their age, and should be used with care. * Most of the furnishings are old, refurbished furniture - many of them are part of our family heritage and cannot be replaced - so their preservation is especially important to us. Please keep this in mind during your stay here. * One of the main assets of our town is the proximity to nature. Therefore, please do not enter with dirty shoes after hikes or walks; use slippers or change into other shoes. * Listening to music and holding gatherings: Due to the nature of the settlement and to ensure the peaceful stay of the residents, it is not suitable for hosting loud gatherings.
