Description
A light and airy spacious Shepherds hut set in a beautiful English garden adjacent to a paddock. Great for a couple wanting to get away for a short break in the countryside and ideal for visiting Stonehenge 15 mins. by car, Bath 50mins. and Salisbury 25 mins. A good stop over point for cyclists on the King Alfred’s way route. The friendly village of Tilshead is located at the heart of Salisbury Plain. Excellent Italian food available at the Rose and Crown Pub 50 yards walk away. The space The hut was built to order by Plain Huts based in our village. It is the best. Beautifully designed, skilfully crafted using oak for the subframe and red cedar cladding. It is fully insulated and double glazed and enjoys underfloor central heating, Whatever the weather the hut provides a warm and snug environment all year round. The flooring is engineered oak. It has an ensuite with toilet and basin. Furniture includes a cupboard and a sofa bed , two chairs and a pull down table. The kitchen has a sink. fridge and induction hob . Continuous hot water is supplied to the Kitchen and Cloakroom. There is a shower cubicle and changing facilities located down a pretty path in a nearby outhouse. Guest access The hut has a veranda plus log burning stove ( logs provided free) and has its own private seating area. The garden immediately surrounding the hut is for the sole enjoyment of the guests. Other things to note Continental Breakfast is provided each morning. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar are all provided. There is a local shop at the Petrol Garage for other supplies but a more extensive food range can be found at the Co-op in Shrewton. We have a charger fitted to the house for EVs which guests are welcome to use.
