A peaceful lakeside retreat set in a colorful garden, just a 100-meter walk from the shores of Lake İznik, reserved exclusively for your use. Designed by its architect owner with natural and eco-friendly materials, this serene lake house is the perfect place to slow down and reconnect with nature. Swim in the lake, watch the sunset, or simply relax to the sound of birds. Close enough to İstanbul and Bursa for an easy getaway, yet far enough to make you feel worlds away from the city. The space The house is a distinctive lakeside retreat designed by its architect owner, with the interior and garden thoughtfully conceived as one harmonious whole. Natural and eco-friendly materials were used wherever possible during its construction, creating a sustainable living space that blends beautifully with its surroundings. The garden has evolved over the years and features trees, flowers, hammocks, swings, as well as a dining table and seating areas for enjoying meals outdoors. There is also a practical outdoor kitchen in the garden, ideal for washing vegetables and preparing meals. A barbecue is located right next to it; guests are welcome to use it and are kindly asked to provide their own charcoal. Guest access Guests have access to the house, the garden, and the lakeside area, which is approximately a 100-meter walk from the property. The lakeside is shared only with two neighboring houses, both of which belong to the same family. The houses do not face each other, and each has its own spacious private-use area, creating a peaceful, open and highly private atmosphere. You can swim in the lake, relax by the water, watch the sunset, or enjoy a meal and spend time at the picnic table by the shore. Sun loungers, shaded areas, and life jackets are available. We do not provide SUP boards or canoes, but you are welcome to bring your own inflatable SUP or canoe. Other things to note THINGS TO KNOW We take great care in growing the fruits and vegetables in our garden and vegetable patch. We kindly ask that you please check with us before picking any of them. Thank you very much for your understanding and consideration. The nearest town with comprehensive shopping options is Orhangazi, approximately 14 km from the house. If you are arriving from Istanbul or Bursa, it may be more convenient to do your grocery shopping in Orhangazi along the way before coming to the house. Keramet Thermal Springs, İznik, and various nature trails in the surrounding area are all within easy reach. There is also a gentle, friendly dog living on the property. The dog does not stay inside the house with guests, but you may occasionally encounter it in the garden or around the property. Smoking is not allowed inside the house. As the property is surrounded by nature, you may encounter birds, butterflies, insects, and other natural elements of rural life, particularly in the garden. FINES & FEES FOR THE VIOLATIONS - Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. Any violation will result in a 100 EUR penalty fee - Lost keys will incur a 35 EUR replacement fee - If keys are left inside the door lock, requiring locksmith assistance, a 60 EUR service charge will apply IMPORTANT CHECK-IN INFORMATION To comply with local regulations (Turkish Law No. 1774, dated 26/06/1973), all guests are required to provide valid ID or passport details before check-in. By confirming your reservation, you agree to submit the necessary information for all guests. Please note that check-in instructions will not be provided to those who do not comply with this requirement.
