On the second floor of the Manoir, the Danube suite opens onto the lake and the light. Its private sitting room invites you to read, rest, work through a quiet morning or simply unwind on the sofa. The bedroom, more intimate, settles around a king-size bed. The bathroom, with a shower and separate toilet, carries that same sense of softness. 🥐 Breakfast included, 8am to 10:30am. 🏊‍♀️ Access to the shared heated pool (28°). 👶 A travel cot available on request, subject to availability. The space Domaine de Thironne brings together several types of accommodation on one site, in the heart of the Perche region. The Manoir and its suites, the independent Cottage which welcomes up to 14 guests, and soon tipis set at the water's edge. 🏊‍♀️ The heated pool (28°) is shared and open from April to October for Manoir and Cottage guests. Pool size 7m x 3.30m. A few simple rules so everyone can enjoy it peacefully. swimming is unsupervised, children remain under their parents' responsibility. Animals are not allowed in the pool area. 🐾 All guests are free to share the common spaces. the living room and its library, the billiard table, the breakfast room, the grounds and terraces. paths cross, people meet, each at their own pace. Outside, the estate spans several hectares around its lake. Paddleboards, pedal boats, kayaks and rowing boats are available. Hiking trails leave directly from the estate, from a short stroll to a long walk in the forest. Pétanque, outdoor games and a plant maze punctuate the days. 🐶 Dogs are welcome at the estate, subject to prior agreement. The estate is not fenced, so we count on your vigilance to keep them close to you, on a lead, especially near the lake and other guests. Animals are not allowed in the pool area. 🛌 Sheets and towels are provided for each guest (baby sheets not provided). Domaine de Thironne is the ideal place to celebrate, reconnect and breathe, where everyone keeps their privacy within a vast estate open to nature. Guest access 🚗 How to get here? The Domaine is located in Montigny-le-Chartif, in the heart of the Perche region, in Eure-et-Loir. Easy access by car via the A11 motorway and then the Perche country roads. Allow around 40 minutes from Chartres (40 km), about 1h30 to 2h from Paris (≈150 km), 1h from Le Mans (≈85 km) and 35 min from Châteaudun (30 km). 🚆 By train The nearest stations are Illiers-Combray and Brou, about ten kilometres away. For arrivals from Paris, the most convenient option is Chartres station (≈40 km), connected to Paris-Montparnasse in about 1h, or Nogent-le-Rotrou station (≈30 km), also served from Paris-Montparnasse. We can recommend a local taxi from the station. 🚲 By bike Domaine is also close to the Véloscénie, the cycling route linking Paris to Mont-Saint-Michel, ideal for travellers on two wheels.
