Welcome to the mountains :-) The space Storebu is located in the cabin area of Sanderstølen and was completed in 2023. This place is perfect for family and friends who want peace, hiking, and mountain idyll. Stunning sun conditions from morning to evening and a magical sunset. The cabin is located right by the floodlit track, so it is ski in/out and easy for the family's youngest members. There is a short distance to the ski resorts at Storefjell and in Bualie, and about 45 minutes to Hemsedal. Easily accessible cottage, flat and accessible ski slope with lights and good hiking terrain on the field, with mountains that get your pulse up right nearby. So the place is suitable for young and old, families, the exerciser and those who want to work out actively. The cabin is a perfect starting point for short and long bike rides. The cabin is located at the end of a dead end road with a lovely view, quiet and peaceful. I have made sure that it is comfortable in Storebu, so the sofas and beds are soft and wonderful to sink into. All duvets are made of down, nice and warm. There are several sheepskins and good blankets so you can sit outside for a long time and enjoy the evening sun. The kitchen is well equipped so everything is in place to enjoy good meals. There is good sun protection on all windows, and mosquito nets in all bedrooms and in the dining room. Guest access The entire cabin except for what is listed below. Bed linen and towels can be rented for NOK 150 per person. Please let me know in advance if you want to book this. Electric car chargers can be used, but bring your own charging cable. I request payment in arrears with documentation of the expenses. I charge NOK 3.50 per kWh. Firewood can be used freely for the wood stove, fire pan and outdoor fireplace. Private areas: 1) One bedroom that is locked 2) Everything in the shed - except for an extra gas tank for the BBQ 3) Two drawers in the kitchen that are marked "private" 4) Storage space in the knee wall in the loft living room On the dining table, you will find a guide for Storebu. Other things to note We have many nice two-legged and four-legged neighbors at Sanderstølen. Sheep are grazing in the area. A little further up the mountain, cows are also grazing. There are a lot of small birds here, and if you are lucky you will see cranes, foxes, weasels, and hares. There are also moose, but they keep a good distance.
