Located on the first floor of the Manoir, this is a 41 m² Junior Suite, featuring a king-size bed (180 x 200) and a comfortable sofa bed for 1 person. Bathtub, shower and dressing room. The space The Domaine de Thironne brings together several accommodations in one place, in the heart of the Perche. The Manoir, with its rooms and suites, the independent Cottage, which sleeps up to 14 guests, and soon, tipis set by the water. All guests are free to enjoy the shared spaces: the lounge and its library, the billiard room, the breakfast room, the park and its terraces. People meet, cross paths, and come together, each at their own pace. 🏊‍♀️ The heated swimming pool (28°C / 82°F) is open from May to the end of September for guests staying in the Manoir and the Cottage. Outside, the estate stretches over several hectares around its lake. Paddleboards, pedal boats, kayaks and rowing boats are available. Walking trails begin directly from the Domaine, from short strolls to longer forest walks. Pétanque, outdoor games and the planted labyrinth bring rhythm to the days. 🐶 Dogs are welcome at the estate, subject to prior agreement. The estate is not fenced, so we count on your vigilance to keep them close to you, especially near the lake and the other guests. The swimming area is not permitted for animals. In the morning, light enters through the windows and the water begins to wake. A place to celebrate, gather and breathe, where everyone keeps their privacy within a vast estate open to nature. Guest access 🚗 How to get here? The Domaine is located in Montigny-le-Chartif, in the heart of the Perche region, in Eure-et-Loir. Easy access by car via the A11 motorway and then the Perche country roads. Allow around 40 minutes from Chartres (40 km), about 1h30 to 2h from Paris (≈150 km), 1h from Le Mans (≈85 km) and 35 min from Châteaudun (30 km). 🚆 By train the nearest stations are Illiers-Combray and Brou, about ten kilometres away. For arrivals from Paris, the most convenient option is Chartres station (≈40 km), connected to Paris-Montparnasse in about 1h, or Nogent-le-Rotrou station (≈30 km), also served from Paris-Montparnasse. We can recommend a local taxi from the station. 🚲 By bike Domaine is also close to the Véloscénie, the cycling route linking Paris to Mont-Saint-Michel, ideal for travellers on two wheels.
