La Martinèche, country house with a beautiful garden
La Martinèche, country house with a beautiful garden
Description
This newly renovated family home welcomes you for a peaceful stay in the heart of Creuse. Warm and comfortable, it offers the essentials for sharing good times with family or friends. Here, there is nothing superfluous, but a simple, neat house that is comfortable to stay in. It has retained its soul and remains a living house. I stay there a few months a year to slow down, recharge my batteries and enjoy the surrounding countryside, on foot or by bicycle. A treat for nature lovers. The space On the ground floor, you will find an entrance, a bathroom with shower, toilet, washing machine, ironing board and a cloakroom. The fully equipped kitchen opens onto the enclosed garden at the back of the house. It connects to the living and dining rooms, which also open onto the garden through a French window. Upstairs, the bedrooms are cozy, functional and equipped with new bedding. The house has three bedrooms with double beds (one with a TV) and one bedroom with a single bed 80 cm wide. There is also a separate toilet and a second bathroom with shower. Each room has cupboards or a wardrobe. Outside, the enclosed garden of about 400 m² is ideal for eating meals, letting young children play in peace, or accommodating your pets. You will be able to park a vehicle on the property. Public parking spaces are also available nearby. You may notice a few carefully arranged personal items that bear witness to the life of this house. I like the idea that it continues to welcome its visitors without losing its soul. Pets are welcome. I simply count on everyone to ensure respect for the premises and the garden so that everyone can enjoy them in the best possible conditions. There is no Wi-Fi in the property, but the mobile network works well. Guest access You have the entire house. The house is not semi-detached. Other things to note If you love walking, hiking or cycling, you've come to the right place. The region offers an incredible network of marked trails and small, quiet country roads, ideal for exploring the landscapes of Creuse. A Terra Aventura trail starts right in the village. You can also explore many natural and cultural sites that make up the charm of this still-preserved department: the Combes de la Cazine in Colondannes, Crozant and the Vallée des Peintres, Aubusson and the Cité Internationale de la Tapisserie, Le Moutier-d'Ahun, Guéret, the giant labyrinth and the Parc des Loups de Chabrières. Fishing enthusiasts will enjoy the nearby ponds and rivers, while those who want to swim can do so at Lake Éguzon, about 30 minutes from the house.
